Yes! Cheap indeed. I think you'll be okay, UNLESS you're into Tractor Demolition Derby. 😂 Mine sits in a carport and is protected from the sun; if exposed, I think they plastic would degrade quickly. Then again, you could easily remove them after each work session.
Back up camera and monitor. 😂 IF your tractor has a shade canopy, you could mount a wide mirror there. OR get mirrors that have a farther reach... Like those mirrors on big trucks that tow. However, I think that'll vibrate so much the visibility would be too shaky.
Great idea! Just ordered mine. I previously tried mounting a full view mirror under the tractor canopy, and it wound up falling apart from the vibration. Your method looks like it will work very well. Thanks for making the video.
I record multiple clips with my Android phones (Google Pixel 4a / Samsung Note 9). Then I use an app called VN to edit and patch the clips together. It's quite simple and easy to learn; most of all, it's fun.
This is brilliant! Worked great on my B2610. Is more like $24 these days but considering I was expecting to spend 4X that this is a great deal. I did use pan head stainless machine screws and nuts for mounting but be warned if you go that route you'll need to grind the heads down about 1/3 of the way
These mirrors are great! I put them on my Massey in maybe 15 minutes and they are solid. However, they failed to send me that cute little kid that Alton got....
@@Trump_Won_AGAIN HAHA! Yes, kids are expensive and worth more than anything in the world. We have two daughters and the son in the video. Parenthood ✊😂
I would like to pursue this idea that I have had for some time and that you have realized. I already have mirrors and I have to take suitable NEO magnets to resist more, I would like to mount them on an off-road vehicle without drilling the door body, so I come to the question: do you think I get a better grip by doubling the magnets? I would like to calculate the resistance of the mirror subjected to the speed of the off-road vehicle, this is the only doubt that I have not yet resolved. Can you advise me?
Hmm... I can test my mirrors on my Jeep and go for a Cruise on a bumpy road. How fast do you think you'll be going on this Off-road vehicle. Also, how thick is the metal that you intend on mounting the mirror to? The steel on the tractor is about a 1/4" thick; which aids in a strong hold. For the Jeep... The metal will be much thinner. If you want, I can try and maybe even post a video.
Been looking for this kind of set up for quite some time. Really appreciate your video and the fact that you show the mirror view when driving the tractor. It looks like there is almost no blurriness due to vibration. Have you found this to be the case? Do you find the magnets are strong enough to stay in place when operating? Thanks again for the video....awesome job.
The magnets are VERY strong! As far as vibration goes, the mirrors stay in place. As for the blurriness/shakiness... I haven't found that too be too much of an annoyance yet. I think the only issue is the size of the mirrors. More view would be nice. Besides that, I'm happy with it. Thanks for the comment and I'm glad it helped you out! It's always great you come across that video you've been searching for. Happy Belated New Year!
Wow looks exactly like the mirrors I’ve been selling on eBay for more than 2 years except I have stronger magnets and rubber coated and 5 types of mirrors not just the cheap plastic ones but whatever
Good Morning. First and foremost I had no knowledge of your eBay products until today. I prefer Amazon. I looked you up on eBay and found your page. The mirrors are in fact quite identical, if not... they're exactly the same as one of the many you advertise. Your "Whatever" clearly implies a negative vibe. As stated, I had no knowledge; therefore, I did not steal an idea from your product; it's coincidental. Your comment isn't quite accurate, considering that they aren't all "rubber coated" as you stated. I will not comment on the "cheap plastic". However, can say that the magnets that I used in the video are quite strong as most neodymium magnets of that size would be. I will also say that many people have been making their own DIY mirrors already through Amazon parts. I'm not making a profit at all or seeking anything; I'm simply sharing an idea intended to help people out. The mirrors are intended for Golf Carts and the Magnets are 'all-purpose' and the parts are also conveniently available through my preferred online source and the vendors are in no way affiliated to me or one another. If you'd like, I can delete the links to the products and change the video's Cover. The last thing I want is to ruin someone's day or business. I apologize if this response is off putting.
@@ALTONBENALLY No need to do anything. The whatever was meant as exactly that. I never stated that I only sell rubber coated that is just one of the many differences and I can see exactly how strong your magnets are from the video very few come with the steel catch plate so they can only be 1 of 2 sizes. I know that people are going to seek out a way of creating the mirrors themselves there’s been a very long standing need for them. I certainly never said anything about you stealing my idea there’s been plenty of that happen and I’m pretty sure currently 6-8 people and places manufacturing identical mirrors that I would say stole my idea but back then when I would search for the mirrors it was just my listings coming back less than 1 page. Now there’s several pages, videos, blogs etc. the only time I’m bothered is when someone lists them for sale on eBay, Google and they use my photos and listing Word for word. I get lots of feedback on these and I know that the majority of the people purchasing the mirrors are not interested in making them. Maybe this way you can weed out some of the people that purchase them and make their own then return for fictitious reasons. I don’t know if you have searched or not but there’s a lot of videos on these mirrors on the internet. You. Fixed the main reason I put the whatever and put statement that you removed the catch plates they would have taken a lot of the magnets strength. Most of the people buying don’t understand how touchy the magnets can be I’ve made the mirrors with 95lb-400lb rated magnets and had buyers tell me the magnets were junk @ 400lb rating or 200lb direct force later finding out the tractor they tried to attach them to has galvanized body panels Or rubberized textured paint like undercoating from Ziebart and they couldn’t figure out what was wrong with the magnets, even swearing that they had been demagnetized (not really possible being made from neodymium and the 9+ days it takes to magnetize them) what I’m told is it’s almost impossible to demagnetize them and naturally it will take 5000 + years before they lose their strength. Anyway like I said no need to remove anything on my account I wasn’t in anyway implying that you stole the design from me I can name several several places that did.
@@robertscott6215 YES, there are definitely people who are willing to buy pre-assembled products. I, myself typically opt for the DIY for the discount. Great hack. Very smart. I've been looking for a simple solution. Already have those magnets so easy to do this.

I like it. But is there a way to add a mirror that can show the 3 pt implement?

Thank you for your efforts with the video....I have the same setup on my BX25D....just not the know how to take a video and upload it.
