    It's been almost 4 months since I began using Lyma. I am 55 y.o. At first I used Lyma for about 1 hour per day (30 min on face, 30 min on neck), but I saw results as soon as 2 weeks into using it; especially on my neck. I was so amazed and encouraged, that I started to double-up the time I used it to about 2 hours per day: one hour on my neck in the morning, and one hour on my face face before bed. Although this routine resulted in my skin looking better than it did 10 years ago, the time involved has upset my daily schedule, so I just purchased my 2nd Lyma in order to use both at the same time!
    Here, I'll stop and say that I am not telling anyone to go spend $3000 and several hours per week of life on your face and neck. Also, I am not declaring that Lyma Laser will provide the same results for everyone. I was considering all manner of medical "interventions" which would incur MANY thousands of dollars and would come with some risks. For now, I am thrilled with the incredible results from using Lyma.

      Wow such a good idea to use TWO at a time! Maybe one day, I will have two. It definitely makes sense when you compare the cost to expensive alternative in-office treatments and procedures, which I think many people do not consider right away when they have sticker shock. Thanks for sharing and I'm thrilled you found something that work so well for you!

      For $3000, you can get professional diagnosis and treatment at doctor’s office🤣🤣🤣 and for 90/mins week? $3000 and 90mins/days, how’s that add up?

    • @beautybeyond40
      @beautybeyond40  ปีที่แล้ว +15

      @@helloydl The flip side of this argument is that you buy it ONCE and then can use it indefinitely at home to customize and maintain your results without having to see your doctor or face any in-office procedure risk. Isn't it wonderful that we have the choice to do in-office OR at-home treatments if we can afford it? I love to make these video to help people learn about the amazing opportunties that are available.

    I started using my Lyma Laser last July 7, after more than a month of everyday use, i had acne breakouts, despite the acne breakout, I continued to use the laser till now , I didn’t see any improvement in my acne and the spider veins in my face is still very visible. In my personal opinion, this lyma laser was overrated, they are just very good in marketing strategy by having A-list celebrity to push their products.

    Thank you for sharing. I had no idea the laser had such controversy but I actually purchased it a few weeks ago after doing a little research, and it’s truly the best at home device I have used. I noticed an improvement after the first use, but I understand this can vary drastically for people. My skin is very textured from acne scars and enlarged pores all throughout. I had begun to see deeper creases forming between my eyebrows and in my nasolabial folds in the past year. Overall, I was seeing an uneven tone, loss of collagen, greasy yet dehydrated skin, monthly breakouts, lots of congestion, and increasing texture. I use retin A and sunscreen, I eat well, am active, I use good skincare and have even gotten laser in the last 2 or 3 of years about 4 or 5x to resurface my skin, but the results were short lived and overall, my skin was just aging. This laser is so time consuming but I have been consistent for 3 weeks using it 45mins to an hr each night while watching tv, focusing on the worst scars and lines, and the results have blown me away. My skin is comparable to photos from 4 years ago. Pitted scars are less noticeable, skin is balanced (no longer dry and oily), pores are reduced, congestion is nearly eliminated, face is less swollen, acne is 95% gone, lines are less noticeable, redness is nearly gone… frankly, I just glow and look younger. I know this sounds crazy, but I know the results are real because people treat me differently, and those close to me have seen the improvements. We shouldn’t care so much what others think of us, but it feels so nice to receive smiles and compliments again because the past few years have really taken a toll on my skin, so to have a device like this-which yes, costs a ridiculous amount and I still can’t believe I paid that-has been life changing. I look like myself again. I look healthy. I am not blessed with good skin naturally, so I am used to working hard and paying a lot for it, but to have something like this that covers all my concerns at once… just amazing. So happy to have found it.

    Great review, you are gorgeous before as well as after. I had issues with melasma which have improved so much since I am now older. My melasma showed up before sun exposure when temps increased. I had the treatment Titan with a derm that made the melasma WORSE so I stopped. I had 3 treatments (5 were recommended) and stopped when my lovely "beard" reappeared worse than ever. I am concerned about any of these products but I really want to work on the jowls and am interested in this one.

    Thank you for this video and for mentioning the other devices you are still using - very helpful, Before and after photos over a 3 month period are difficult because the sun is in a different position in the sky, and we are continuously aging. It might be better to do photos with no natural light visible, and maybe at 1 month intervals. I like the dynamic photos/video. I think if someone is accusing you of getting botox then they have never had botox! Your skin looks great.

    I’ve been waiting for your results video and thank you for doing it. Before I started the video. my first thought was wow, you skin and cheeks look more plump and more youthful. Lots of definition of your cheekbones. You are stunning if you just sprayed water on your face we would all want to know what water you used and we would go buy it. $3k is a lot of money, but $3k doesn’t buy a miracle magic wand, let’s be realistic. If one feels better about the way they look by using it, it’s worth it. If they don’t, they scream it’s a rip off. The mental attitude of I’m investing in myself and love and take care of me in itself makes us more beautiful. If you feel happy, that’s a beautiful thing.

    I’ve had the LYMA for almost a year and it has transformed my neck! I used it every single day for 4 months (almost an hour a day) and have seen incredible results and then started to back off. But now I’m focusing on different areas of my face (jowls and cheeks) and I’m seeing results there too. Yeah, it takes consistency but if you’re patient, you’ll see incredible results. And just FYI, I purchased it with their interest free payment plan so I didn’t have to dish out so much money all at once. I’ve never used their skincare, it’s too expensive in my opinion

    Part two. The additional benefits from the LYMA for the first month is the jowls are lifting, cheeks are more defined and the better healing of a scar on my face. My forehead lines are disappearing, but I am also using LED equipment. I am sure with the Lyma and the LED combined it is speeding up the process. I believe they compliment each other. Last March 2023, I tripped on the garage stairs going into the house and my face hit the wood railing. I had to go to the Emergency at the hospital. The left side of my face scraped and eye area was damaged. The eye area had a (1) inch long horizontal gash below the eye. It was (3) different types of damage. Closest to the nose a 1/2 inch long split in the area ( the Doctor said it was in the natural fold area so I did not need stitches). The middle section 1/4 inch a really deep gouge (this area I was very concerned about with no top skin and inner skin missing). The section closest to the hair was a flap of skin 1/4 inch square detached on the (2) sides and bottom ( I laid that flat down on the skin). This injury is one of the reasons I stopped using all my treatments for my face, the last thing I wanted was a quick healing, but leaving a scar. I used a vitamin E capsule pricked it with a sterilized needle and put it on the injury and covered it with plastic wrap and adhesive to keep it moist and protected. Did this daily after gently cleaning with sterilized water. It took (4) months for it to heal and the middle section slowly rebuilding all the missing skin of a 72 year young person. It is really important not to allow a scab to form, the vitamin E kept the area moist. The result was no visible scar. Yes, I would recommend the LYMA but in my opinion you will definitely also benefit from the LED face and neck masks. One piece of advice make sure it has the infrared light and it is not red it is clear and usually part of the coloured light bulb, but goes the deepest in the skin.

I would advise any one wanting to try this technology to do your research and get a cold laser device if you want one comparable to this. Or invest in a strong LED panel. I don’t think the price is justified in this device at all.

In 2023 I got very busy and I neglected myself and forehead lines started to show up. I started again the led treatments and introduced the Lyma. The led keep my skin texture and colour of my skin absolutely flawless. I have very sensitive skin to the point even after washing my face it stays red for (2) days. Some creams and serums would burn my face. I have been one big experiment. I refuse to wear makeup to cover. I have subsequently found product that work for me. I do yellow, red and blue light daily. It keeps my skin clear and no redness. I just purchased my sixth led the Foreo FAQ 202 led with (8) colours and it will arrive next week. I use all my different brand led face and neck equipment. It depends on how much time I have and the treatment I want to do. You would know the brands.Omnilux, Dr. Gross, Lightstim, CurrentBody and Project E

    For me, it was a huge waste of time and money. I used it exactly per the instructions from Lyma without missing a day for 4+ months, even using it in the airplane bathroom for an overseas flight. Also, did 3 minute holds. I saw a small improvement with the elasticity on my neck. Other than that……NOTHING! I took before and after photos to compare. 😩

    Trina-this device is professing to (primarily) heat up the dermis layer of the skin, correct? So if I’m getting good results with my current devices that do this (Nebulyft, Venus) to mildly stress the dermis (trying to get more collagen and elastin production), there’s really no reason to consider the Lyma…? Does it have more of an effect on the skin’s surface than other modalities such as RF?

    • @beautybeyond40
      @beautybeyond40  ปีที่แล้ว

      The LYMA is a cold laser, so it's definitely not heating the dermis. I talk more about this device technology in the video if you'd like to watch again? This laser is very different from radio frequency.

    • @Toddster63
      @Toddster63 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’ve watched the video twice now, and I see no mention of what cold laser actually does to the skin, technically…?While I realize it’s technology is radically different from radio frequency, isn’t the effect of lessening wrinkles and plumping or tightening the skin all about increased collagen and elastin production (the effect caused by low level damage to the dermis), regardless of the modality? RF, ultrasound, NIRA laser, are all very different, but still all about heating up the dermis to cause it to go into repair status, no? I just wonder where the Lyma fits in…? Does it focus more on the epidermis and helping to repair the damages on the top layers of skin?@@beautybeyond40

    Were you using the Korres and Elephant products daily before you tested the Lyma? Those are great products and may well have contributed to your skin looking extra awesome too.
    I have a Lyma and have hardly used it. I'm a bit paranoid about fat loss due to previous damage and saw too many reviews saying Lyma caused fat loss. The device I had was heating up quite a bit and that was making me nervous too. I need to return it to have it looked at and make sure it's not defective. Did you notice your Lyma got super warm or not really?
    Your video motivated me to give it another try!

    • @beautybeyond40
      @beautybeyond40  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I always have an elaborate skincare routine, and use serums with actives and face oils, so I don’t attribute those products to the improvements. These are just the specific products I found to work well with the laser for me. I used the Futurna oil and then Drunk Elephant when it ran out and I’ll move on to another face oil when that runs out. Lyma is a cold laser does not heat up. If you are feeling heat, it’s probably from the friction of moving it against your skin. If you want to do a test, just turn on the laser and don’t move it across your skin and see if it heats up. It will stay cold. Or do a 3 minute hold in one area and see that laser stays cold. This device for sure does not cause fat loss but I’ve never heard this. I never saw any fat loss in my face. I verified this with the Lyma team before I started using it, as I always do when testing a new device.

    I barely see a difference in your eye area with wrinkles being softened some. Your jowls next to the mouth area is where I see the most improvement. Your skin looks tighter and less wrinkles. If you have the money and time and patience I would say buy this LYMA laser! If not I would stick to other modalities for now. I could see over time if you keep it up that your face would remain younger liking for a longer period than if you don’t do it at all. By the way you look amazing at your age and look only 37-38 in my opinion. Love watching you! ❤

    If you go to a good laser treatment clinic and pay them $3000 to improve your skin, they would improve your skin drastically using clinically tested professional equipment on your skin, all while you’re relaxed. Overtime it will cost more than that device, but you will look amazing and if you look amazing you will feel better, and when you feel better you are a nicer person. It needs to be a mask with a laser and a gentle massage to lift your face while you’re relaxed. Even product like that, doesn’t reflect $3000 price tag.

    My wife told me last night that she's buying one of these so I'm here checking it out. Very much appreciate the honest review. 'My honest' opinion is that you're a very beautiful woman regardless of the laser, but I actually found the before photos more appealing than the after. This maybe a result of that trip to Greece, the sun, salt water, and just traveling in general. These factors impact my appearance, especially after surfing. I think in the after photos perhaps you're looking at a specific area, whereas I'm looking at your entire face as a whole. If I look at the specific areas you're pointing out, I 'am' able to see what you're saying with respect to tighter skin and less wrinkles. I suppose like you said, a controlled study on the device would be needed. Thank you again for the honest and professional review. PS: How about some reviews on SMP and hair restoration for woman and men, I'm 55 and need an overhaul.

Their Lyma life Facebook group deletes any negative reviews and the comments you can catch before they delete them all say the same, it is a scam.
