What I think...3100 US$ for 1 week in an interior cabin! HOLY CRAP!!!! I am sailing in 3 weeks on the MSC Meraviglia and it's costing me 700 US$ for a deluxe balcony cabin for 11 days. It's like 1/4 of the price!
his price is particularly bad. Our family of 4 did Mardi Gras a year ago, over Thanksgiving and I think it was less than what he paid for one person! We typically always seem to find something for around 100pppd, sometimes all in one room, or sometimes two insides...
I'm sure his price was based on double occupancy. So in actuality his fare was approximately $1,500
3K for an interior cabin on a Carnival ship!? Hell no! I could fly business class to Europe and stay somewhere nice for that much money

The way the cruise lines are going, that might very well what will happen in the near future. They keep increasing prices on everything by ridiculous margins. Don just made a video about bottled water going up 140% in 2 years.@@joedavenport5293
We sailed in the Excel Suites on the Celebration, so we had access to Loft 19. Let's just say, it's worth the upcharge. Getting private access to the pool and there are plenty of other parks. You get a free bottle of champagne, 6 bottles of water, wait staff that will bring you food from any restaurant on the ship. Plus 8 people to one cabana. It's way less crowded there than anywhere on the ship.
Aw, sorry Laurene couldn't be with you. I'm sure it would have been more fun for you with her. You mentioned you thought the cruise was going to be fairly full. With thousands of people and crew on board does it seem crowded wherever you go, or are there quieter areas? I don't think i would be comfortable on a huge ship like that.

Great video. You must have flown in to Bush (IAH). Houston Hobby airport is MUCH closer to port. It is on the south side of Houston and about 30 minutes away.
If the jubilee is all Texas out with western flair, I don’t think I’ll ever sail on her. Country western isn’t my vibe. But to each its own.

Great video! I've never sailed with Carnival before. I'm a Loyal Royal, sailing on Icon next year. But the Jubilee and that Venenzia ships look really great. I may have to extend my cruise palate.

OMG. I just got off of my first cruise (Carnival Dream) and now I am hooked. We are going on Breeze in 6 months, and I am now looking into Jubilee. That "Wipe me Down" playing in the club sealed it for me!!!!

Gonna be on the Jubilee in about 3 months and I can’t wait! This’ll be my first Carnival cruise as I am very much Loyal to Royal, but it should be something new to experience! Overall, great content Justin!🙌❤️
Royal has let the Navigator got to seed, they haven't spent a dime on the ship, in years. I was on it in November this year, wow what a sad decline to a once proud lady. A ship that revolutionized Royal Caribbean, so sad!
Long time RCCL/Celebrity cruiser. Last April we were on the Mardi Gras out of Canaveral. It had been 10 years since we had been on Carnival. We had the BEST cruise for entertainment food bars music EVERYTHING. I'll be interested in your experience
Same we were always loyal to Royal as well and we took a cruise on the carnival panorama and altogether the cruise was just ok our room due to the smoke stacks left soot all over our balcony that we were never able to use it and carnival did Nothing for us. Offered us a 25 on-board credit on next cruise which is nothing so were done with carnival. Lots and lots of rude obnoxious people on board and the hallways were loud with people drinking partying and screaming. Kids running around unsupervised all the time and so many people on their phones at the pool talking so loud so everyone could hear them you know the type I'm talking about like look at me! We saw 2 very large women fighting over one skinny guy they each had each other's wigs in there hands while throwing punches and security came by twice to break them up. The ship was nice but the large groups of gangsters ruined it so were back to Royal again. One thing on Royal is the chair hogs. OMG the chair hogging is out of control on Royal Caribbean they really need to do something about this.
@@bigguy1403 I had the same experience 10 years ago on the Victory. My suggestion is to try the Celebration or one of the two new Italian ships. There are really two Carnivals; old and new. You need to study closely, if they are old ships or these new, higher end ones.

our first meal was at Shaq's when we did Mardi Gras. That was about 13 months ago. The fast foods and street foods were all really good. The mdr, the complimentary Pig and anchor, chibang were really all just so-so. Pig and anchor was giving really small portions and some people went up, reached through to grab tongs and get more to eat. If you can report back on how the mdr and P&A are looking, that would be good.

Update I was so happy to meet Jay on his way to a comedy club. Guys he is a true gentleman very stylish and so kind. I did not get to see him dance yet but it was so nice to meet someone that bring so much joy to this world! Happy cruise!

Thank you for this video, lookin forward to your final review. We're excited to have the Jubilee close to us. Galveston is in a transition process I believe, she's becoming a more popular cruise ship port. She needs some upgrades, but I expect to see some soon. Since we live about 45 minutes to an hour away, we don't mind the distance. Hobby Airport is closer than IAH.
Galveston is new to the larger ships, hopefully the embarkation process will be smoother with a little time. Looking forward to sailing on the Jubilee this summer 😊

I’m glad I have cruised Carnival before because most videos of the sail away party looks sooo ridiculously packed. Thankfully, As soon as the party is over the ship becomes well spaced out, quieter and comfortable.

Funny! We got the inspection sticker on our car seat on royal out of Miami a few months ago. It was like the third time our car seat was searched, wiped down, or scanned on our trip. (Airport and cruise terminal)

Love the XL class on Carnival. I've only done the $100 7 day cruises on them though. I'll wait till that offer comes my way on Jubilee. I'm surprised you're only Gold on Carnival considering how much you talk about them. lol

I can't wait to cruise on her, I've been on the Celebration and I loved her, the only thing that I can say that I did not like is center stage, it's entirely too small, they need to do something else with that and have a bigger theater area to where they do all the shows.
