    Can rain bird inline valves be mounted vertically against a wall instead of horizontally ?

      Yes and no. First we need to specify which type of valve. An inline valve or an anti-siphon (a/s) valve. Definitely no on the a/s due to the a/s assembly's need to be horizontal to work with gravity. Technically I would say no for the inline valve to as I have found that all valves I've dealt with prefer to be horizontal to work properly. Anything beyond 45 degrees tends to disagree with gravity and proper internal operation.

    Why dont you use PEM hoses instead of pvc tubing in the US?
