From childhood I have interest in electronics. In class 7, 8 when i get my phone and Internet connection for first time with it I started watching NPTEL lectures of electronics and electrical due to this I was getting low marks in school ( in literature mostly) but always top in Science quizs, in class 10 I came to know about that there is a very tough exam called JEE and if You pass that Exam you get top colleges where you can do all sorts of experiments and practicals.. you can use oscilloscope, multimeter etc. reality of JEE prep and coaching hit me hard and i decided that it is impossible to prepare for jee without coaching so i left the idea of jee. Completed 12th with PCM. Seeing some of my friends( who went for coaching) marks in jee. I get some confidence and I started preparing but failed. Now I started doubting about my knowledge of electronics 😅
See, if you really have passion for electronics, don't worry, electronics is a vast area, and it is a part of physics as well, you can do bsc in physics and then msc in electronics, there are plenty of courses that we dont know about. Try to explore those. If you have skill, you will definitely be appreciated
Sir I got 95.2%ile and got 55k rank. I'm very much disappointed with this rank and have a strong feeling that I can score much better if I get another chance. But parents are against full drop, rather they are suggesting to take whatever branch i get in homestate or other NITs and then opt for partial drop, but I consulted many seniors from NITs and most of them said that managing college and jee prep is a herculean task, most of the partial droppers have to leave their prep at the end. Right now I'm in such a dilemma and turmoil which is indirectly affecting my mental peace and advanced prepration. Edit : got 18k in advanced. 55k in mains to 18k in adv is insane, but I don't think I will get any IIT being a gen male candidate. Bad luck once again 😔

But this year I will study just like I used to in 10th grade and it reminds me why I chose pcm in the first place and even if I don’t crack iit I want to really feel physics and math and make an informed decision! Thankfully I do have supportive parents and some other favourable conditions
Most of the people in this country don't understand and need not understand Hindi. Please continue making videos in English which your target audience is expected to understand.
Thank you for the feedback. However, more than 50% of the population of India understands Hindi with more than 40% having Hindi as their mother tongue. Hindi is also an official language of work besides English. And while the medium of instruction at the IITs is English, the vast majority of the students carry out their daily interactions in a mixture of Hindi and English. Taking a deliberately contrarian approach by saying one need not understand Hindi is not helpful. I have seen students coming to IIT without being able to speak a full sentence in Hindi but then pick it up of their own volition within a year or so. Having an open mind and being adaptable is much better.

So true professor, exposing the evil institutes is the right way to stop students skilled in other directions jump into this race. These days IIT is not a place of Good Engineering Hub rather a place of making money quickly. This ideology of money over Shiksha is implanted in kids since their very birth. When a baby girl is born we say, "Ghar mein Laxmi Aayi hai", why don't we address her as 'Saraswati'. Money comes behind Education, not vice versa. If we need to really develop INDIA then we need to idolise Maa Saraswati. If someone is reading this, in true world professors like him are more valuable then your so called StartUp founders.
I think there are a lot of resources for mechanical engineering online and you can learn any topics. But the clg plays a big part where it is taught with practical example. I still remember my professor bringing a turbine blade to explain power plant engineering. I'm still clear about it. We even went to NTPC dadri and that made me understand power plant engineering so much. I did intern in Indian railways also and that made me learn and passionate about railways. And i still keep a track of technology and development in Indian railways. Rest i have left mechanical field due to some reason but clg will always be a great part in development of my personality. The interviews helped a lot further in life.
You are right. There is a completely different feel to it when you can actually see an engineering system. For practical things, a live teaching/demonstration will always win any day over an online teaching/demonstration.
Mujhe toh yha ke education system hi samajh mein nhi aata.yha log eng ko innovation ke bassis pe nhi krte but naukri mil jayegi isliye krte hai.dat is why in our country we don't have big brands like 🍎n all
I have written captions in English myself (not auto-generated) for each and every sentence I have said in this video. You can switch it on with one click.
This is the first video that I have made in Hindi following a long-standing request from students. Here is the summary of what I said in the first part of the video (up to the 6:00 minute approximately): Try as far as possible to avoid Tier 3 colleges. However, if due to some obligation, you are forced to go to a Tier 3 college, then please do not take up departments like Mechanical, Civil etc. (basically the hard core engineering branches). Instead take Computer Science or Information Technology in those colleges. The reason is that those colleges do not have well-trained teachers. If you take CS or IT, then you can at least learn from the enormous amount of online materials that are available in those branches. Compared to that, the number of online materials in Mechanical, Civil is limited. Furthermore, the nature of these hard core engineering branches is such that no matter how much you learn online, you really need to get some hands-on experience live in front of a teacher for certain subjects. You will not get a proper experience in those subjects if you go to these colleges. For the second part of the video (regarding dropping), you can take a look at an earlier video: th-cam.com/video/lFdwm8dJjv4/w-d-xo.html

@@arhitray8676 obviously it's not tier 1. But the fact that you could make it to IIT for an internship says a lot. You wouldn't have gotten that internship if you didn't have some sound basics, which you couldn't have developed had you been at those tier 3 colleges.
@@supratikghanti2675 Its only because I spent that much time in developing those skills on my own to get an internship here. College has no role in it except guidance from one of my prof....IITs or IISERs have that culture here that you dont have to struggle on your own. Even some Standard private colleges has this type of enviornment. But studying in a 3tier college is extremely toxic and its very frustrating.
True....civil and mechanical is tough subjects needes good teachers.
i am jee 2023 student . Qualified for JEE ADVANCED .. But i am really confused when i think that why BRANCHES like MECHANICAL CIVIL CHEMICAL are filled with lower ranks whereas CS, AI, AND ELECTRIAL are given to the students with atmost 3000 rank! WHY NOT IITS GIVE THESE HARDCORE DEEP ENG. BRANCHES LIKE (MECH) TO TOP STUDENTS AS THEY HAVE GREATER THINKING ABILITIES AND GIVE BRANCHES LIKE (CS) TO BELOW RANKERS. it would be glad to listen to your views on this topic . THANKS PROF!!!
The institute itself doesn't have like a major role in this,it's the students decisions which make the arrangement and the institutes just play along because they recognize the need and due to current industry requirements, lol
CS, EE pays you more. So it's obvious people will run for it.
ME, CE, CH nowadays is just wastevof efforts & negligible opportunities.

If you had tell this 5 years before my life would be something good now. But no such awareness were available. Now I passed out from tier 3 college and preparing for gate for iit . I got sales engineer job from there and got frustrated totally. No real core job available from private college.

Only 5% of students go to IITs, NITs, CFTIs etc. for their engineering, So what you are saying is applicable to 95% of students, who will go to these tier 3 colleges. Also sometimes teaching is worse in government institutes as profs. have a govt.job (I have first hand experience of working in a CFTI on contractual basis)..? The CFTIs would only generate like 5-10k core lets say mech. engineers per year. Are they sufficient for such big economy or can we have some more..? please let us know...thanks!!
This video of you is quite practical.....
Hota h bhai mujhe bhi apni Comp Sci per doubt tha per ab itna nhi h 🙂
Coachings kill the inner scientist of a child
You become a product of rote learning.
The education system itself is flawed to be precise
Bro did you fail in your drop year? Cause I did 😢
See, if you really have passion for electronics, don't worry, electronics is a vast area, and it is a part of physics as well, you can do bsc in physics and then msc in electronics, there are plenty of courses that we dont know about. Try to explore those. If you have skill, you will definitely be appreciated
I was also very passionate for aserospace engineering 🥺🥺, but didn't qualify JEE ADVANCED,
Sir I wish u had made this video last year I would have not wasted a year.😢
can you please tell how did you waste your year
Bahut aacha sir
Wbjee ka result kaisa hai?? Bitsat ka preparation thik hoga
Ha kato expect korchis Tora?r advance er preparation kamon?
Bhai kasam se... Mera 94.37 %ile aaya

Bro same situation with me I end up getting 51k rank even after lot of hard work for 2 years , I asked my senior they suggest me to take any lower branch in nits instead of private college
Bhai same conditions yaar but I am thinking ki kisi nit ki lower branch lekar cs bhi karun sath mein. To get better placement
I don’t know if you’ll ever read this but thank you so much sir, I have never heard such unique opinions about learning math, coaching, mechanical engineering ofc and finally taking a drop. I think I watched these videos in a very systematic way completely aligning with my journey! I will be taking a drop certainly even though my result couldn’t have been worse I never understood physics and match the following though interesting to learn at coaching never helped excel math! But this year I will study just like I used to in 10th grade and it reminds me why I chose pcm in the first place and even if I don’t crack iit I want to really feel physics and math and make an informed decision!
Thankfully I do have supportive parents and some other favourable conditions
बहुत ही सरल तरीके से आपने अपनी बात रखी, जिससे मैं सहमत हूं। हर माता-पिता को यह वीडियो देखना चाहिए।

You are right sir .i am a civil engineer from well reputed college. In civil and mechanical engineering an institute requires good and enough workshop and lab .and good dedicated experienced proffessor
This time in jee mains i got 60 k rank and i got this rank only due to my lack of reviison of chemistry and not giving much importance to maths and my hardwork and problem solving skills are good so thinkingto take drop and in my drop year i I'll not do the mistakes which i have done in my last 2 year preparation
kitni aayi is bar bro????
kya hua bro any update
One should notvrun after an engineering course ftomtier 3/4 colleges
Dropping a year is not recommended for all. Option is good BSc Maths/Computers, MCA etc. Suggest thinknfor yiurseld, dont be influenced by coaching institutions. It is possible yiu are not fit for engg so wby keep trying.
To every one dropping yaar the most important thing is your mindset and think thausand times brfore dropping but if you drop back your decision dont regret or be jealous of your friends
I know im not old enough to say this but if you were ever of my age or my friend then my response to you would be
"DAMMM....thx bro you really Saved me By ur Sick advice thx buddy :) "
From my experience don't go for interdisciplinary branches in normal private colleges.
I agree; But Tier 2 and Tier 3 are clueless about the common degrees; India needs to stop taking short cuts

Good evening sir
Sir for ECE students?...
Thanks sir
Sir is taking 2nd Drop for JEE will affect me during placement?? For CSE
Might raise some questions
Nah, it doesn't matter. Just give reasons like financial condition wasn't good, couldn't afford engg fees immediately.
yes it will ..

Sir....Ict mumbai kaisa hai?

If the video is in English it is very useful for me.
This is the first video that I have made in Hindi following a long-standing request from students. Here is the summary of what I said in the first part of the video (up to the 6:00 minute approximately):
Try as far as possible to avoid Tier 3 colleges.
