@@leroydiesel5647 you have to drill and tap each exhaust manifold outside the port of the exhaust been doing it since the later 70s on V-8 cats and k model Cummins it will tell you temperature of each piston injector goes out runs cold 10-4 good to hear from you
@@apaulothegreat1581 I knew that would be the method but Id be concerned every cylinder infront of the next sensor would heat contaminate the next one down the line. Also cost would play into it.
@@leroydiesel5647 trust me it works and as far as the cost it doesn't matter the reason is you have a very expensive engine you want to know what it's doing 1pryometer tells me what temperature of the turbo of little use I have to go out Nissan 4 cylinder bottom end together be back later thanks
@@apaulothegreat1581 if you go pre turbo like it should be done you will get the average temps of all cylinders as you know, thats good enough for 99%. Some people even run just a probe only in the crossover pipe witch I dont agrree with as you would only know what going on on the drive bank, so I tell people to go pre turbo jus below the turbo. I guess it the same reason as you are saying every cylinder. Have a good one.
