      @@MetalBansheeX That's sad. :( -- Cats are great pets for all kinds of people. -- Don't know what your reaction/symptoms are like, but some people actually do okay if they're regulary exposed at a low level (desensitisation) and avoid extended direct contact. I.e. don't rub your face in cat and wash your hands regulary to limit the chance of rubbing it on your face. // Also, the primarily allergen is present in saliva (and other bodily secretions) and cats lick themselves a lot, so if they shed it can get all over the place. That can mean that short-hair cats are a little bit better, because they don't shed as much. Making sure to keep your pet out of some private spaces (like a bedroom or office for WFH people) can help too.

    i shave in the shower, its much better for me imo. Also depending on how dark your hair is you may not need to do like half of the upper thigh. Always do legs though. In general you just need to shave up to wherever everyone will actually see. That also means if you are single right now, (given you arent tucking with adhesives), you do NOT need to shave your privates. You can if you want to but no one is seeing that. Same thing for body, if its winter, you do not need to shave your belly because no one will see that. Also if you can, get a cheap epilator first and see if you can handle the pain/can do it freely, if you can great, you cut your grooming time a lot. Also if you want to get around the lighting without doing a flashlight or anything, once youve shaved once, after you shave up the leg, feel for any hairs with your hands, and then reshave in that area. You do not need to reapply shaving cream if you put enough on as its main purpose is to soften your hairs. Id say the bare minimum is face, legs, armpits. Legs and Armpits should be every 2-4 days, depending on circumstance. The more consistently you shave, the faster you will get at it.

    Wash face with warm water and soap first, then after, wash with cold water and soap. That way you close your pores back up that way you get less acne. Then moisturize 💫 i was raised female and had to shave my whole body to be "appropriate for church" lol but yeah ⭐️

    EDIT: This is way too damn long. Read the reply for my actual process instead of everything you *can* do.
    I'm late to the party but for anyone stumbling on this later than me here is how i do my makeup.
    Makeup is basically painting, you have layers I'll break each section, although this is the order i do it in;
    General Face;
    - Cleanse and moisturize your skin, shave as well. Sometimes the foundation will sit on the dead skin cells and look flaky - gross and loos bad, fine hairs can do the same.
    - Primer. Doesnt matter what kind, it makes a barrier between the skin and makeup so you dont get acne breakouts. Put all over the face.
    - Concealer. Tap onto spots that are dark marks, eye bags, spots, scarring. Let it dry for around 20-30s and then dab in the same spot with a blender/finger.
    - Foundation. This is your general coverage to hide redness/discoloration, it sits on top of concealer so it looks more natural. One squirt on back of hand and spread out, then dab onto face. Using less will look more natural and concealer is doing the bulk of the work on blemishes.
    - Blush. Dont make a face when putting on blush because you'll naturally reset face position and it'll be off. Put on cheek bone with relaxed face and blend out.
    - Highlighter. Above the cheek bone, it catches the light and looks pretty c:
    Eyes;
    - Eyeliner before eyelashes because we're gonna curl em, it'll be harder with them in the way. You want to follow your natural eyelash length and go to the corner of your outer eye you dont have to do a wing, but if you want to - go for it. The point is to make your eyelashes look darker at the roots.
    - Curling lashes. It looks like a torture device, but my sister helped make it easier. Place it vertical in the eye socket, and once the lashes are in, rotate 90 degrees. You want to squeeze as you move your hand upwards to crimp the eyelashes into a curled position. Try not to catch the eyelid, very painful 0/10 dont recommend.
    - Mascara. Hold it sideways like you're handing over a bill and rest it against the lashes. Blink into it, move, blink, repeat. You can encounter clumping if there's too much material on the wand, so you can wipe some of the material off in the container before you try to apply it on your eyes.
    - Eyeshadow. Not something i have much experience with, a nice simple idea is to take two colors, maybe one that compliments your eye color and a neutral and place them either side of your top eyelid blending between them. For extra pizzas you can add glitter in the middle to brighten the eyelid and make a better blend finish.
    - White pencil eyeliner? I dont know what it's called specifically so I described it. Draw a small amount on the inside of the eyes next to the nose. Then blend it out with a finger, will make the eyes look brighter.
    - Eyelashes. They're a pain I never do them because they're too finicky. But really feminizing once you can do them. You'll need a set of eyelashes, eyelash glue and place them above your eyelashes really close to them. Most eyelashes wont be your size, so you'll have to cut them to shape to match your natural ones.
    Eyebrows;
    - Pluck. Yeah it sucks, but it's the best and easiest way to get a shape you want. Especially if you have a lot of eyebrow hairs.
    - Pomade. It's good for most people who arent eyebrow deficient like me. Can also be useful for maintaining eyebrow shape for longer. You brush it on, it's like mascara for eyebrows.
    - Eyebrow pencil. You can draw in additional hairs to make your eyebrows more full, outline the eyebrows to make them sharper, or fill in patchy spots. Match your eyebrow pencil color to your eyebrow color. If you dont have many eyebrows like me, match your hair color. In my case black/really dark brown.
    Lips;
    - Lipgloss. Can be used on your natural lips or on top of lipstick. If on top of lipstick use your finger rather than the wand, you dont want lipstick being dipped into your gloss.
    - Lip Plumper. Causes a mild irritation of the lips to cause them to swell, tingles, bit annoying but they usually come as a 2 in 1 with lip gloss so maybe try it out see if it's for you.
    - Lipstick. You can choose whatever color you want here. But if you dont know, go for the same color as your nipples. Weird, I know but this is what my sister recommended to me.
    - Lip Liner. I never do this, but trace your lip line, if you want to exaggerate your lips size do so, but be careful as it can look like drag which may not be what you're going for.
    The rest are going to be tips and things to avoid.
    You want the middle of your upper lip to be an M shape, this can be done by making an ah mouth shape and starting at the point apex.
    Avoid going to the corners of your mouth. You can follow the lines perfectly, but if you go to the corner of your mouth, the lipstick will look smudged and out of place there.
    Dry lips = dry looking lipstick, so use a chapstick beforehand to keep things moist and remain hydrated. You could even moisturize your lips if you like.
    Contour;
    I will honestly say i know very little here but will share what i do know.
    - For more fem look, round off your forehead at the hairline with a dark color - bronzer, or dark nude colours blended out will achieve this. If masc look, square it off, think crew cut.
    - You can also round off your jawline in the same manner and thin the neck by doing the same. If trying to look masc, do under the jawline, this squares off your jaw looking more masc.
    - The aim of contouring is to create the illusion of shadow, which our brains see as depth making things look more receded and the contrary is true - brighter = pulled foreward.
    So more intricate work on the nose might pull aspects forward whilst pulling others back. I'm not experienced enough to guide to this extent. Contouring the cheeks, neck, forehead and jaw is easier.
    Set;
    - Setting spray. This is a good all rounder, spray yourself in a + action, then a X action to get full coverage. Works well with Dewy/glass skin makeup styles.
    - Setting powder. This sets a matte finish, but creates a softer look. It's also referred to as baking. It's typically done after the base layer [Primer, concealer, foundation] has been done to set all of that before you layer on top. It's advised to set the eyes immediately after finishing the concealer/foundation on them to prevent creasing.
    General tips;
    - Wet your blender. You want to rinse it under the tap and squeeze so it slowly increases in size. Then squeeze so most of the water is out. The goal here is for the water to prevent picking up too much material with your other products and just soaking it into the sponge.
    - Use the same primer/foundation type - oil vs water vs silicon based. If you get an oil based primer and a water based foundation, you'll end up in sadsville. It'll separate and look weird.
    You can see if it's oil, silicone or water based by the product ingredients.
    Silicone based will have ingredients like dimethicone at the top of the list.
    Oil based foundations will have oil as their 2nd or 3rd ingredient. The higher the ingredients usage, the higher in the ingredients list it will be.
    Water based will have neither oil nor silicone at the top of the ingredients list and will instead list water.
    - Fixing mistakes;
    For the sake of argument let's say you made a mistake with eyeliner. Wait until the eyeliner is dry. If you remove it before then it'll smudge and make things worse.
    Use a Q tip wet with micellar water to remove the eyeliner.
    If you're being lazy like me; Same as before, wait until dry, then blend it in with a beauty blender you've already used for foundation. The foundation will give coverage to hide the mistake.
    Q tip is probably better but I'm lazy, sue me.
    That's all I can think of.

      So you read my small feature length novel about everything right?
      Doubt it, it's a wall of text.
      This will be my process with only a few supplemental tips. Just what i do, as i do it.
      For more depth you can read the above to get at those sections at your leisure.
      - Shave face.
      - Cleanse + Moisturize.
      - Wet blender for use. You'll know it's ready when it basically doubles in size, squeeze excess water out and it's ready.
      - Primer all over face.
      - Concealer on blemishes/eyebags.
      - Foundation spread on back of hand first to reduce amount used and look more natural. Put all over face.
      - Set here with either setting spray or setting powder.
      - Blush just below cheek bone, blend out.
      - Highlighter directly on the cheek bone, blend out.
      - White eyeliner pencil in corner of eye near nose, blend out.
      - Brush eyebrows into place and use eyebrow pomade to fill them out.
      - Eyeliner, follow lash line to corner of eye, wing optional.
      - Curl eyelashes.
      - Mascara on eyelashes, lower optional. Remove excess mascara before applying so you dont get clumping.
      - If feeling spicy, contour forehead, blending out
      - Lip gloss on lips. I havent found a lipstick i like otherwise I'd do the lipstick before the gloss.
      - Set again so everything stays in place.
      - Stare at yourself smiling like an idiot in the mirror for an hour, somehow convince yourself you're not trans for 3 years because it's just make up, it's just a dress and it's just fake boobs even though it makes you inexplicably happy to look fem. That's me. I'm calling myself out.

    with the right clothes and long hair it's mostly enough to pass visually as a girl. Voice is the main clocking things, that's for sure. if you want 100% pass there are so many niche things you can do to maximise the chance of passing, like how to walk, shrinking your body, smiling a lot. oversize hoddies and mask were my best friends before hrt, then i got into eyeliner, then foundation when i was already in HRT. never stuffed my boobs, i don't like having fakes things on me, natural hair, natural boobs uwu. tho they are quite small, bu noverthless they do not make me pass less. of course if they were bigger people would notice more which means people will mostly think i'm a girl based on them, but also old geezer staring at my boobs

    Thanks for the advice on height to wear skirts, I was watching this on my lunch break, changed the height and it looks a lot better. Here's some advice I've heard for choosing clothes, try to go for tighter clothes on top or bottom and loose on the bottom. In general it looks better than tight and tight or loose and loose. For example, if you're wearing skinny jeans, don't tuck your shirt in, but do if you're wearing a skirt

      suspect that's because it's nearly impossible to truly change your voice without surgery. Well, except for trans men who can achieve a somewhat deeper voice through HRT (testosterone). And vocal cord surgery can have rather poor results, just read about Julie Andrews. --- That said, people can and do learn how to speak/sing in a different register as well as vary the shape/stress on their vocal cords a little bit.

Im telling you the difference is literally night and day, my hair used to look like a birds nest when i wake up and now its so much easier to maintain, looks alot nicer, needs less washing, and is probably alot healthier.
    In terms of hairstyles unfortunately my hair is still too short to make a nice ponytail. A few styles Ive liked so far are pigtails (be warned, theyre harder than they look), headbands/head scarfs, or coils. I also like gathering the hair that would hang in front of my ears and tying it behind my head around forehead level while letting the hair on the back of my head hand loose, idk if this has a name but i think it looks really good and its very practical.
