@trulyblessed5236 pixel looks better for standard backshots, but that's it. As soon as you get into anything like portrait shots, front facing camera, ultr wide lens, zooming, or pro features, then the Samsung phones far outshine Pixel.

S23 ultra hands down. The pixel 7 looks like Jordie from Star Trek Enterprise 😅. I also like the clean edges of the Samsung vs the rounded edges of the Pixle7. Let's not even get into the hardware.

I own both Pixel 7 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra - both are smooth and good in handling day to day tasks, but the S23 Ultra is just better overall. The additional bloat in S23 Ultra serves as utility for additional features the phone provides that's unmatched by anything else right now. The Ultra's smooth, fast, secure, great display, great speakers, no heating, has excellent battery backup that lasts all day with heavy usage - Pixel heavily disappoints in the last three parameters.. Moreover, the S pen has a lot of use for me and is unparalleled by any other. Will stick to Samsung just because of their innovation and utilities.
tbh Samsung's S23 look is pretty much the same as S22, i mean samsung couldve shown some creativy fs (but at the same time, Why fix something when its not broken right?). Whereas the Pixel 6 definitely came into the market with a new and distinct design. and the P7P looks amazing as well. if i were to describe THIS specific colour of the P7P, i would use the word ORNAMENTAL.
Matter of taste. The Pixel is all about the software and stock android experience. Samsung is for anyone that doesn't mind paying a few hundred more for a little more hardware muscle. also Samsung's OS might be a little bloated for my liking but just as high functioning and well thought out. Even moreso to some. It's all really a matter of what your wants and needs are. I switched to the Pixel 7 Pro from the Note 10. All my previous smartphones have been Samsung going all the way back to the Samsung "Mesmerize". All great phones but what the Pixel has been doing sounded more my style and I got an offer on a P7pro that was too good to pass up. I'm very happy. If I couldn't try out a Pixel for my next phone I'd like to go right back to Samsung or try Asus. Apple is not an option out of principle.
If looks can kill, then it's definitely the PIXEL 7 PRO! The Samsung S23 Ultra is not a bad phone at all, especially with it's 200 mega pixels camera!, but it looks Exactly the Same as last years model, so nothing so special there. Plus, all those circular camera lenses sticking out like that, does not look attractive what's so ever. The PIXEL 7/7 Pro looks Slick and ABSOLUTELY beautiful compared to most flagship cellphones out there! It's very user friendly, with that new Dictation capability, it's just incredible. Also, Pixel 7/7Pro is now Super AFFORDABLE!, and is way easier to hold comfortably in hand too! Just an Honest opinion here. ;)

Both look good, but S23U takes the cake. Why? Because the damn camera visor on the Pixel scratches after 2 seconds out of the box!
