Your a good rider your calm and understanding when your horse is spooked. This is what most riders should do in a situation like this instead of freak out or raise their voices.
Have you ever tried putting obstacles in a small paddock with him, bags on fences, barrels and bins that he has to get close to when you lead him around and also if possible, one where you have strips of tarp or plastic hanging from something high to get him to walk through. It would really help him to learn to trust you and become a more confident horse. Look into liberty training it’s a great way to become one with your horse and bond as soul mates. I hope this helps
Beautiful trail to ride. Hello from Los Angeles. Your horse is so pretty and true what you said about him liking to walk with another horse on the narrow paths.
Well rode, well done for not giving in. In a horse’s brain it only use 5% of it, so it doesn’t only retain all the information that it takes in, so if you have a spooky horse, sadly it happens. Maybe try long reining him on the hacks that you do that can help build his confidence.
I would encourage you to do groundwork, especially for mounting. You don't need that awful whip either. I love that you are so patient with him. If he had the groundwork you would enjoy your boy more. Good luck
Hi ALL ,when I was learning to Cary a whip ,thay tort us too put the whip in the same hand as the rains when mountain and discount. I don't SEE mean of YOU do that , these day's. TAKE CARE AND all the best. 😊😊👍👍🐶💟💖
Does he have separation anxiety? As he keeps trying to either turn for home? My horse also has separation anxiety,i wish i could hack him out alone but he so difficult to get moving 😄 he threatens to rear with me
I can barely hear you when you’re talking. Euro is very pretty and I think you are doing well with him not giving up and making him do what you want. But I would like to be able to hear you a little better.
@@Ameliathehorselover2 🤷🏼♀️ just easier, there’s no actual right or wrong way, it’s just become habit to do everything from the left as when horses were used in the war because of the swords, you’d mount and do everything on the left
I just love how you keep engorging him to go and telling him he’s a good boy x❤
as someone who ownes a green horse i can understand complications like these. Its so great you stuck with it! You and Euro are such a great team.
i love how calm he got when he realised he was safe where he was. x
❤️❤️❤️

He is fine sometimes and other times he isn’t, I don’t think it’s a specific thing he’s scared of more that he’s by himself

Would love to see more of this, mistakes lead to greatness. ❤🐴
Onwards and upwards. Hoping that it all continues to get better and better.

@@victoriabonica1450 he’s not mine and I stopped loaning him, plus I always go hacking with a whip
How is it an awful whip…. It’s not like she’s abusing him with it!

I just put the whip wherever it’s more comfy but yes if you are going to swing it around and all then it is better to do that
Love your horse I have a grey who’s always dirty. ❤❤❤❤
you'll never do it if you give up+
Is it ok to ask you how much does your horse weigh in the video
