I think that the reason why the mane on the normal coat of the dragon-horse you got looks funky is because the coloring is called "grullo" and its kinda like how the fjord horses have the black in the middle of the mane.

I do t know if you know this but if you want to see the whole body in it’s non-magic coat you can press the button that changes the coats from magic to non-magic and when your looking at the horse in it’s non-magic coat in the shop you can exit out and it will be in it’s non-magic coat so you can see the full body
I named my green dragon horse Bayleaf. I practice witchcraft and bay leaves are used for prosperity and abundance, which this horse is said to represent. I also considered naming it Moss Agate which is a green crystal used for abundance growth and earth energy
SSO knew what they were doing making these horses on the Fresian model. They aren't happy with how split the community was/still is over the models so some new, limited edition dragon horses are going to 'make' people buy the model even if they don't like it. The riding hall looks amazing tho, I'm glad that came this week
