So the smaller engine works harder and runs hot, surprise surprise. Gr8 product placement as usual. 150k for a GR 300 plus another 60 to 70K in mods and hardware, thats getting really exy aren't too many people that would take a 220K fourbie offroad?

me to . but we cant have them in the U.S. no toyota diesels , same with 70 serris wagon and my all time fav the troopy . we do get a 3.5 v6 gas $95k Lexugly LX600 luxury wagon , new prado based GX 550 over trail is going to be one our best Choice's same with the LC 250 first edition 2.4 gas hybrid

Hi, so given the 200kw and 650nm(stock) of the 200 series and the torque curve that is really flat from very low revs which allows you to get the job done without ringing it's tits off. So what has happened to the torque curve on the 300 with the few mods and software work? Where does the torque start(revs/max torque) start and finish(revs/torque) with the mods?

Why not rather get the3,5 petrol? Then you have enough power and if you add a frreflow exhaust and some mapping surely you vould get very good power? Fuel consumption cant be an issue at this level?

Would interesting to see what effect these tunes have on engine longevity & engine emissions. When these cars are used predominantly in business type applications with big budgets, be no problems, but the average purchaser of a 300 couldn't afford issues with Toyota if the engine or transmission were to go bang. With most engine tuners, when one signs the bottom of the invoice accepting the tune one is on their own.
Where is the ZR2? Rumours have it, it was rolled..?

I no you are a very good Mecanic but you must put the 300 in front of 200 series because of sales for Toyota they must be a sponsor of yours what ever it is I reckon the 200 is just as good as the 300 it all depends on the modifications you have but I reckon the 200 right up there with the best 👀👍🏾

20 years Bmw engine 3L inline single and bTurbo Diesel are the best...i was expecting great performance from 3.3 v6 here it is....

When did Toyota build excess strength in their transmissions and drivelines? In days gone by the gearboxes were only just strong enough for factory power, the diffs not even strong enough for that. 750nm and heavy 35s are going to bust that auto in no time, especially since not even a transmission cooler is fitted.
But will he keep the DPF tho 🤔 ahahahaha
That's long gone they just don't openly brag anymore post the court cases and fines.

460 ford, alloy heads, alloy intake, w/pump. mild cam, flat tops, job done.. weighs same as 351, 16 times the hp..no computer, nothing to fk up, a real v8..fuel economy,, ??,, who cares,, he spent 250k, on that.. thats a loto fuel..
may have missed it but did that "audio" torqit exhaust het thrown in the trash? I'll take it...;-)

Another thing I’ve never heard said, what about changing the final drive ratio to counter the effect of the large diameter tyres?
That’s going to improve pick-up & maybe fuel consumption as well.
That car will be way over-geared with those tyres.

For 12 years i was rides only land rover cars. And that's like a tradition in my family ( land rover is the best!) but after i own my first TOYOTA Land cruiser 2022 ... Man what the f*** i was doing with land rover! Toyota cars are really tough and the engine is against any problem you may face!

Where's the video of the whole day?
dyno shootout is in 4th gear where it suppose to be in 7th to have a 1 to 1 ratio. Then they go to claim its better then a 200 series and cant find one that is tuned up to race against while they have every other truck there. Then it supposedly beat all of them wtf. I have seen other dyno videos saying the 300 made similar power to the 200 when both is tuned. Differences is the 200 made 20% more power down low sooner. The only thing the 300 has over the 200 is the 10sp gearbox. That 10sp is to help the little v6 stay in its power band. Time will tell how good that 10sp gearbox really is because motor wise the 200 already won.
So is this yet another no dpf build?
Them saying that the tuned 300 won against the rest seemed a bit suss. I would have like to see each race.

This ( your ) story , it’s got me really BF’d , but 🤷♂️good to see the info, but as others say, “ There’s NO substitute for cubes “, 😐🤷♂️ OK you did a bit of work ( so did Toyota) on this engine, just think 💭 IF, Toyota put a bit of technology in to the V8 , and then Just Autos add their bit 🤷♂️ it would have to perform better . Got the cubes and power over lap 😐🤷♂️. Not our fault that the Toyota engineers have just given us a basic V8 🤷♂️ Besides can’t beat the V8 sound 😎👍🤨🤣🤣🤣 But 🤷♂️ I’ve listened to you’s . we are in australia not america. it is NOT a TRUCK.
Australia the LC 300 is wagon, in the U.S we call them s.u.v's , ours are more of. a 3 row luxury school bus , with independent rear axle for a smooth ride and leg room for the 3rd row , wish we could get a LC300 , and 70 series in the U.S. gas engine is ok .

I don't believe I have seen chests inflate so much over 400hp. I had to shift my own scale. 4500hp SMX use to be beast mode for me. Now it is 400hp.

Yawn, Still get chopped by a stock patrol. 1vd/1hdfte would demolish it with a gturbo/injectors and a tune. No replacement for displacement.
The patrol was supercharged making 550rwhp not stock. All cars stock the patrol won and 300 was second. But out of all the cars 300 modified was the winner. No turbo or injectors add to the 300 just a package 3

all modern cars have oil consumption problems,,cos they use smaller rings & sht synthetic crap oil.. you have to change before 5000 ks.. or it fks your engine.. FACT..

Audi proved diesel DOES belong on a racetrack. 24 hours worth of max revs. Petrol V8 Raptor wouldn't last 5 hours flat out.

A petrol motor will easily last 24hrs at that rev range,a 20yr old camry motor thats been serviced twice in its life with 400k on the clock will do that
