I commend the Soldier for his / her patience with this woman. The poor horse is unsettled & she keeps tormenting him. I’m very surprised the Soldier didn’t speak out or press his red button to get her moved! 🙈🤷♀️ The situations the Soldiers & horses have to endure on a daily basis is shocking.
They let her stay there much too long. They should have a two-minute rule. It was unfair to the horse who actually looked a bit fidgety when she got close. @@PrincessNottingham I did in retrospect, I feel for the horses and to be honest, I don't think anyone should be allowed within 2-3 metres of them, I didn't write anything disparaging about her though. She is not well and as long she isn't hurting herself the police will keep an eye on her. I have 2 autistic sons, eldest and youngest, eldest is diagnosed with Aspergers and the youngest is on the other end of the spectrum and therefore has challenges with regard to understanding why certain rules are in place because he doesn't see life the way others do, so I get it that it would be a challenge to explain to this lady why she shouldn't be doing what she is at, maybe she thinks she's helping the horses, however, I find ways to get the message across to my youngest, and failing that I tell him that the rules are the rules and it's not his place to change something just because he doesn't agree. This was infuriating to watch. I can empathise with loving animals, but that a grown woman would think that she can spend so much time bothering that horse like that - a working horse, no less - that doesn't even know her, and while knowing that people are there specifically to take photographs. I heard they finally banned her from the whole complex. She would go every day, just to aggravate the horses and guards. She also basically blocked access for the other tourists, that just wanted to take a quick picture,and get out of the way.

She is spoiling everyone's chance of a nice photo. I am a former visiters assistant for HRP. No way would I accept this behaviour from a visitor. The guard kept moving the horse to try and discourage the woman but she just wouldn’t take the hint. He should have spoken up for his horse.
The patience of this guard! Watching the guard closely, you see that he's causing much of the horse's movement himself, trying to tip the horse's head away from the annoying lady, subtly moving the horse toward her, forward or backwards, in effort to back the woman off. (You can see this better when the camera view switches to the left of the horse.) The horse never pins his ears, although they're mostly aimed back at his rider, which shows his attention is on the rider. He tips his ears forward when the woman approaches him. This shows his interest in her, rather than annoyance. The head tossing is in reaction to the rein cues, and he's mostly objecting to being maneuvered. I think, if allowed, the horse would probably knock that woman off her feet trying to rub his face on her (bridles get itchy). The guard's subtlety is lost on this idiot though. I dunno, maybe she's mentally challenged. Glad the police were right there to keep an eye on her.
Most normal people, acknowledge the horse, pat it, get a photo and move on in 30 seconds, so that other people can do the same. The fact that she is socially unaware that other people are doing this points to her having a problem. It is fine to love horses, but most of us would either get one ourselves or channel it positively and go and help out at their local Riding for the Disabled Association.
The head tossing is because the woman is in the horse’s face all the time, the only ‘rein cues’ are the guard reacting to his stressed out horse’s actions - and trying to ensure that the woman doesn’t get bitten. If someone that you didn’t know came up to you and constantly rubbed you on the shoulder and held out their hand to your face you would probably be quite upset by the unnecessary and uncomfortable situation. :(

I commend the Soldier for his / her patience with this woman. The poor horse is unsettled & she keeps tormenting him. I’m very surprised the Soldier didn’t speak out or press his red button to get her moved! 🙈🤷♀️ The situations the Soldiers & horses have to endure on a daily basis is shocking.

They let her stay there much too long. They should have a two-minute rule. It was unfair to the horse who actually looked a bit fidgety when she got close. Not only that, but she was ruining photo ops for people who just wanted to step up, have their picture taken, and walk away. What a rude person.

The police have dealt with her several times, but she doesn't care. She just keeps doing it.
She's the person who used to wear red and tries to monopolize horses and act as a guide. She needs an ASBO to stay away. That's not something I'd usually say. She's the one who complained to the police when yelled at to get off the reins. An ASBO is an Anti Social Behaviour Order. Who wants a picture of a horse with a giant purple grape next to it. I'm a tolerant person but she needs to go. Also there's an odd bag to left of the sentry box.

@@PrincessNottingham I did in retrospect, I feel for the horses and to be honest, I don't think anyone should be allowed within 2-3 metres of them, I didn't write anything disparaging about her though. She is not well and as long she isn't hurting herself the police will keep an eye on her. I have 2 autistic sons, eldest and youngest, eldest is diagnosed with Aspergers and the youngest is on the other end of the spectrum and therefore has challenges with regard to understanding why certain rules are in place because he doesn't see life the way others do, so I get it that it would be a challenge to explain to this lady why she shouldn't be doing what she is at, maybe she thinks she's helping the horses, however, I find ways to get the message across to my youngest, and failing that I tell him that the rules are the rules and it's not his place to change something just because he doesn't agree. People in the comments have been unnecessarily ignorant towards her - that I have no time for and I admit that my turn of phrase wasn't very nice of me. She seems to make an appearance every few weeks apparently - it was somewhere in the comments. FYI I've lived with mental illness, my mother(plain old crazy coupled with narcissism/psychopathic traits ), my eldest had manic depression and has PTSD, but I appreciate being reminded so I thank you, you are right.

This was infuriating to watch. I can empathise with loving animals, but that a grown woman would think that she can spend so much time bothering that horse like that - a working horse, no less - that doesn't even know her, and while knowing that people are there specifically to take photographs. I don't know if she's had a rough day/week/life and maybe felt a connection with an animal that had little choice but to put up with her, but goddamn. Amazing that she did not get bit

I heard they finally banned her from the whole complex. She would go every day, just to aggravate the horses and guards. She also basically blocked access for the other tourists, that just wanted to take a quick picture,and get out of the way.

She is spoiling everyone's chance of a nice photo. I am a former visiters assistant for HRP. No way would I accept this behaviour from a visitor. I would be there moving her along so others could get their photo without her gormless, ugly mug stinking up the place! I've met some oddballs on the job but she is very creepy.

The guard kept moving the horse to try and discourage the woman but she just wouldn’t take the hint. He should have spoken up for his horse.

The patience of this guard! Watching the guard closely, you see that he's causing much of the horse's movement himself, trying to tip the horse's head away from the annoying lady, subtly moving the horse toward her, forward or backwards, in effort to back the woman off. (You can see this better when the camera view switches to the left of the horse.) The horse never pins his ears, although they're mostly aimed back at his rider, which shows his attention is on the rider. He tips his ears forward when the woman approaches him. This shows his interest in her, rather than annoyance. The head tossing is in reaction to the rein cues, and he's mostly objecting to being maneuvered. I think, if allowed, the horse would probably knock that woman off her feet trying to rub his face on her (bridles get itchy). The guard's subtlety is lost on this idiot though. I dunno, maybe she's mentally challenged. Glad the police were right there to keep an eye on her.

Most normal people, acknowledge the horse, pat it, get a photo and move on in 30 seconds, so that other people can do the same. The fact that she is socially unaware that other people are doing this points to her having a problem. It is fine to love horses, but most of us would either get one ourselves or channel it positively and go and help out at their local Riding for the Disabled Association.
The head tossing is because the woman is in the horse’s face all the time, the only ‘rein cues’ are the guard reacting to his stressed out horse’s actions - and trying to ensure that the woman doesn’t get bitten. If someone that you didn’t know came up to you and constantly rubbed you on the shoulder and held out their hand to your face you would probably be quite upset by the unnecessary and uncomfortable situation. :(

Never judge a book by its cover, my Mum told me occasionally! It’s painful to see the lovely horse harassed, I love horses and have a long history with them.. 😬🤬🥀🕊

Horses are very sensitive especially to negative and bad people they sense evil and react to it accordingly. If she doesn't take the hint then she deserves what ever comes to her.
