I agree. Big 6’1 or 6’2, RH shot center that gets to the center of the ice well. Dangerous as a shooter and distributor equally. Good offensive game and could tweak his defense but it isn’t from a lack of effort or engagement. I still believe defense can be improved with coaching. Offense seems to be an either having it or not kind of deal. Coaching doesn’t magically turn a defensive player into an offensive guy.

Looking back at pre Yzerman drafts is just sad. Ken Holland could build a team but he sucked at drafting! Jim Nill is probably the best GM for drafting! 2017 he picked (4)Heiskanen, (26) Oettinger, (39) Robertson. Wings picked Gustav Lindstrom one pick before Robertson! Nick Suzuki went 13th
The ceiling on Nygard is not very compelling. Let's face it he is a good player playing in a weak pro league. With all due respect Norway is not the USA team at the World Juniors. Why night take a shot at a player lower in the draft; Jett Luchanko comes to mind. Even Bennett Sennecke called Luchanko a highly skilled player and a 200 ft player.

Wouldve preferred Hage at 15 instead of MBN. I could see Teddy Stiga going way higher as well.
Can't have enough forecheckers with offensive upside, MBN is a no brainer here, if Helenious isn't there.
