The printer will set up the print for double-sided printing, you don't need to worry about that. Laying out the booklet in facing pages is easier so you can see how the design will look when the booklet is open as a spread. You just need to make sure you save it as single pages so the printer can impose the booklet for printing.
How about showing us how we can set it up for a 4 page pamphlet that we can print on our own printer. I don't need to send it to any printer. I don't need that many copies.
