Amazing ! Is there any published approach (RNP / VOR) to land there ? I remember 2 go around last year in bad weather and I was wondering how things worked there. Do you descend at Minimum Safe Altitude and after it's only visual ? is there ATC ? thank's and amazing video !

I am from Surigao City and our house is along the landing and take off path so nakikita ko ang paglanding at lipad ng CEB PAC..so nice...pero thius is landing on RWY36 so hinde ko to nakita nagland...huhu... we are along RWY18 landing path...and our house will be on the left..kaya HELLO sau Captain...kaway kaway...

I would like to know. Is the engine noise really that loud inside the cockpit? Or is it just vibration noise picked up by your camera. I know it could be as loud in the passenger section. Just curious.

Hi JM TV, This video was taken few years ago when i was flying this beast (turboprop). At that time we have flights Cebu-Butuan in the evening. But i wasn't able to record any of our flight. As of now due to pandemic i only have CEBU - DAVAO, CEBU - GENSAN, CEBU - CLARK and more. Pag my schedule ako Butuan, i will surely record it for you. See you on board!!😉 Amping😊

I am a Cebuano living in Cebu City and before, i travel a lot to Surigao, Butuan, Cagayan and Davao kay daghan ko mahal sa buhay, mga paryente didto. Mabuhay tang tanan. Engine sounds like that inside the cabin. It is not annoying though and not as noisy as you think.

Maraming factors involved like experience and flying hours. Minsan sa ibang crew mataas sa ATR minsan nman mataas si A320.

May direct flights na MNL-SUG-MNL. Surigao airport runway length of 1,700 meters has been fully restored.
When was this?
I can't remember exactly but maybe around 2018 or 2019 when the earthquake hit surigao and damage the runway with 1000 meters usable runway left.
