You have helped me so much. Somebody presented your book "The Power Of now" to me when I had just recovered from a surgery. For 2 years, I just ignored it. Then one day, I picked it up and started reading. It was a life changing transformation. I felt like a caged bird that had been set free. Thank you so much. 🙏🙏🙏
@@jeff_forsythe The most important parts of any teaching are the basics. The power of Now was my first ever spiritual book. I have read a lot of books since then. Been to India, different retreats, different teachers etc. I find Eckhart to be the clearest. I find other teachings can lead you further into trying to figure out intellectual concepts, and just take you further into the mind. The power of Now is all you need in my opinion.

Why do you feel the need to lead others away and correct us ? Where is your peace ? You words express judgment, insensitivity and a lack of understanding of what we are doing here or saying. I wish you the best in your journey, and I refrained from replying to your last, inappropriate comment... but from your words are not leading others to Falun Dafa. This phrase taught me a lot: "You need to get downwind of yourself and smell what the rest of us are smelling". IMO, you words here will turn others away from Falun Dafa. While listening, I feel in a sudden relief. And after, when thoughts come, I realized that is so certain "the greater the challenge, the bigger intensity if presence". My experience has been it comes from the letting go, or surrender if you will, that comes from the total losing of control that happens quite organically in the presence of pain and suffering. Yet it is not this way for everyone. Snow ❄️ two flakes alike. ❤️ 😌 The pathless path and the gateless gate. Thank goodness.
This is my experience too. First the pain, then the presence, now the two simultaneously. I loved particularly when he said "the awareness that you are is an emanation of Source, unconditioned". Still I have some persistant conditionings, but gradually there's coming some spaciousness around them. Rejoyce, we are an emanation from Source, divine.

This speech is very similar to the teachings of a book I recently read. "The universe, stretching to infinity over millions and millions of suns, is the externality of Divine Thought, the essence of which we share in our state as conscious rays of eternal wisdom within the confines of our spiritual evolution" (In the Realms of Mediumship - Francisco C. Xavier) I am amazed by the profound explanation Eckhart gave to us about God and the meaning of the Cross here. Gratitude!

Eckhart will never leave humanity because his teaching will live on. Through the Power of Now a New Earth will emerge is what Eckhart is telling us, his students. The old consciousness is already being replaced by the new and unconditioned. It's up to us to stop fighting, stop resisting the old and through that ever more increasingly start allowing the new. We are all connected, we are one. His intuition has never failed and he estimated in one of his talks that around 10% of humanity is already awakened or in the process of doing so. That percentage is the so called critical mass needed to bring about change in society. Be the change that you want to see in this world and it will manifest itself through you. Eckhart is the perfect example of this and he is living proof that's it true. Eckhart does not have followers or fans, he has students who will become teachers and so Eckhart is a teacher of spiritual teachers, a guide for all of us pointing to the light that is within. May those who are seeking the kingdom of heaven find the dimension of spaciousness within. May they realize that true religion is not about the messiahs, it's about those who got their message.

@@jeff_forsythe The most important parts of any teaching are the basics. The power of Now was my first ever spiritual book. I have read a lot of books since then. Been to India, different retreats, different teachers etc. I find Eckhart to be the clearest. I find other teachings can lead you further into trying to figure out intellectual concepts, and just take you further into the mind. The power of Now is all you need in my opinion.

I just read the diary of Etty Hillesum “an interrupted life and letters from Westerbork” She is a Jewish mystic. And in her diary she relates her inner life in the time of the holocaust; her evolution was certainly sped up through the suffering and her conciousness of inner life. Why do you feel the need to lead others away and correct us ? Where is your peace ? You words express judgment, insensitivity and a lack of understanding of what we are doing here or saying. I wish you the best in your journey, and I refrained from replying to your last, inappropriate comment... but from your words are not leading others to Falun Dafa. This phrase taught me a lot: "You need to get downwind of yourself and smell what the rest of us are smelling". IMO, you words here will turn others away from Falun Dafa. While listening, I feel in a sudden relief. And after, when thoughts come, I realized that is so certain "the greater the challenge, the bigger intensity if presence".

My experience has been it comes from the letting go, or surrender if you will, that comes from the total losing of control that happens quite organically in the presence of pain and suffering. Yet it is not this way for everyone. Snow ❄️ two flakes alike. ❤️ 😌 The pathless path and the gateless gate. Thank goodness.
This is my experience too. First the pain, then the presence, now the two simultaneously. I loved particularly when he said "the awareness that you are is an emanation of Source, unconditioned". Still I have some persistant conditionings, but gradually there's coming some spaciousness around them.

Eckhart will never leave humanity because his teaching will live on. Through the Power of Now a New Earth will emerge is what Eckhart is telling us, his students. The old consciousness is already being replaced by the new and unconditioned. It's up to us to stop fighting, stop resisting the old and through that ever more increasingly start allowing the new. We are all connected, we are one. His intuition has never failed and he estimated in one of his talks that around 10% of humanity is already awakened or in the process of doing so. That percentage is the so called critical mass needed to bring about change in society. Be the change that you want to see in this world and it will manifest itself through you. Eckhart is the perfect example of this and he is living proof that's it true. Eckhart does not have followers or fans, he has students who will become teachers and so Eckhart is a teacher of spiritual teachers, a guide for all of us pointing to the light that is within. May those who are seeking the kingdom of heaven find the dimension of spaciousness within. May they realize that true religion is not about the messiahs, it's about those who got their message.
