How is changing settings in the video tab going to boost FPS, seeing as 99% of the time a game will use its own proprietary codecs for cutscenes, so these won't even change anything in cutscenes, let alone an FPS boost? You really didn't do anything that would justify setting a restore point, but commonly you would START with setting one before changing anything and not after.
Surely you must have an English-speaking friend who could read the script; A.I. voices are the absolute worst, IMO.
