Thank you so much for giving me the chance of watching all these series I have missed in my growing up years. With this current pandemic (Covid 19), Bonanza has saved me from depression.
Funny, I just posted a comment with the opposite view. With all sincerity, I am glad that you enjoyed it. At least we both know what an excellent show Bonanza was.
As I was growing up I watched a lot of westerns. I remember watching Tombstone Territory in the middle of the day with my Grandma after the soap’s in the summer time. I was 7 r 8. Watching the soaps she’d do my hair. Wonderful memories
Watching these shows one doesn’t feel like their wasting their time or escaping from reality but they feel more enriched because of it. And from that state of mind you can improve your life.
Bonanza is great. The episode the "BOSS" promotes women power as peace lovers. Also daughters love their father very much, can bring the best out of their Father!!!!!!!
Adam comes out for two seconds and you already think he's the best... you have more morale than the alcollano... the best without a doubt, no matter how much courage you have, are Joe, Ben and Hoss
Watching this episode Adam knew what was going on all along, When the wheels ain't turnin nobody's earnin And if a freight company thinks they own the roads that could spell real trouble!!!!!.

Yes he was all that.people can change he turned his life around after being shot during an armed robbery attempt in his 20s.best bad guy I have ever seen I believe.
Julee Morton, who played Karen, is now 83 and ultimately earned a masters degree in educational psychology and became a family therapist. I'm so happy because this is probably the first time I've looked up one of these guest actresses and found she didn't die of lung cancer in 1993.😊❤❤
This fervent fan of "Bonanza" is absolutely delighted to enjoy these excellent series again! Applause and praise from a Javanese in Bogor, West Java, Indonesia!! 🙏🇮🇩🙏👏🙏👍🙏👏👏👏🌴🇮🇩🌴👍👍👍💝
unbelievable that I found almost the same girl in Europe and she is in my zorro series now - watching this episode led me to discover her and a few others too. thankes Karen many thanks
For me it is very useful to see and listen to the series in original version, so I keep the English language and improved it. Since because of my age I can no longer travel abroad.
How come little Joe and Adam never tolded Ben that the bad guys went and got the doctor for little Joe till their was a trial and ps the neighbors shouldn't have even tried to make Ben chose between his sons it was bad a enough when they did it to Ben with out the neighbors interfering. And don't forget little Joe says hello to all of the 300 girls at the girls school. 🤣😄😅😆
A number of sources claim that it's 2 hours by horseback from the ranch house to Virginia City. 10:54 Ben has been in the saddle 6 hours in one day...he went to town, went home, and now back to town. This seems implausible especially since he'll have do another 2 hours to get back home

I remember as a child seeing this episode for the first time with my father. I also remember asking my father why the assorted mine owners (the biggest power brokers in California & Nevada) would not just step up and circumvent Washoe Freight lines and bring in their own goods for the town. The men who owned those mines literally built the west. Leland Stanford, Sutro and others.

it was a simpler time then. Real Men had honor.

Great episode, thanks. Evil has temporary power but integrity ultimately wins courtesy of the Cartwrights.
