Jesus, the systems are not even close. They come from different decades. More time separates them than the SNES and PlayStation and there's still people comparing the two.
That scrolling outperforms the NES. NES sucked. In fact I wanted a new system so bad after Colecovision but just couldn't get an NES. thought the controllers were terrible. Then saw a Sega Master System in action and the graphics were much better then the NES. I got one of those. Loved it. Still play the SMS today.
Looks pretty good, although the MSX version had better sounding music. Contrary to rumors, there was never an Arcade game. I think if you look through old issues of the Japanese Arcade magazine "Game Machine", there is not a single mention of "Antarctic Adventure".
This game was quite advanced for it’s time
This was from back when Konami made quality games and cared about their games, their employees and their consumers.
game looks simple, but it got place on my heart
because it was my very first game i played on my very first pc
I have 45 years old and still remember this game
The ost is so beautiful
It's a version of the "Skater's Waltz" from Émile Waldteufel.
I only have one memory of this game - That goddamn seal
you can really see the Coleco outperform the ATARI here.

What a joke! Who drops in to say another version is better. Also, it's a crap opinion. The music is virtually identical.
It’s a shame Konami didn’t release more of their MSX games for the Colecovision. They probably would have, if not for the game crash of 1982-1985z
Fun fact : this is otne of the early hideo kojima's game
I'm pretty sure that's Penguin Adventure, the sequel to this game.
@@colecovisionlives3139 eh? thx for correcting
What do the different countries mean?
Without looking it up, I'd assume it's the countries that administer the different slices of Antarctica where each level ends.
11:14 ARGENTINA!!!! ARGENTINA!!!!!
