I remember how much I loved her. Loved her like no other. Yet she was not at my maturity level and often was disrespectful and verbally abusive due to previous relationships she had been in. I did everything I could to make it work but I realized she needs to work on herself. So I had to walk away even though I truly loved her. I learned you can't love someone else unless you love yourself. The day she loves herself I hope she finds someone who treats her like I did and she treats that man better than she treated me.

Letting her go and walking away was very hard, but nobody should be in a relationship where they are disrespected and I realized at the end of the day if you truly love someone instead of stooping to their level and mistreating them like they are doing to you and staying in the relationship, you walk away and in doing so deep down you just hope nothing but the best for them which is true love, cause if you don't well you never truly loved them. True love is rare, selfish love is common. Hope one day to experience true love again.
Sean amen brother! Was in the exact situation for 5 yrs(we where each other first) and i did the same. Im 21 got into electrical and making damn good money and shes still going to college getting into debt! I still love her but shes just so disrespectful and immature.
