David Kaye reveals he enjoyed the exchanges between Megatron and Jim Byrnes' Inferno, and discusses Jim's jokes. While Ian James Corlett has trouble remembering scripted interactions but remembers behind the scenes interactions...about farts.
In the Transformers franchise, Ian James Corlett has portrayed Cheetor in Beast Wars, Beast Machines, and the Beast Wars Transmetals video game, as well as the Maximal Computer, Sentinel. He has also voiced Shadow Raker in the 2015 version of Transformers: Robots in Disguise.
David Kaye has voiced many incarnations of Megatron across the Transformers universe including Beast Wars, Beast Machines, Transformers: Armada, Transformers Energon, and Transformers: Cybertron. He can also be heard as Optimus Prime, Grimlock, Lugnut, Cliffjumper, and Warpath in Transformers: Animated, as well as Hardshell in Transformers: Prime.

That’s a really good question if not hard to answer. Cus scripted interactions, unless much improv is allowed, don’t really allow for much memorable authenticity to be anything other than just another work assignment. Though a scene or a particular dialogue may be memorable to us, to them, it may be just another product in a line being churned out during a Tues morning over a decade ago. Even the memorable interaction David said he had with “Jim’s Inferno” wasn’t actually with Inferno but with Jim himself, unless there was a deleted scene where Inferno told dirty jokes or something.🤔😆
