During game 6 of the finals, there was a group of kids right outside my house loudly talking and cheering. When the buzzer sounded and the championship was official, you should've heard the excitement from those kids. All of Canada was united behind the Raps. and I am eternally grateful for Kawhi and Raps ending our country's major sports championship drought.

Man, y'alls hearts had to be in your throats the moment that ball first hit the rim and was bouncing, thinking it was probably gonna fall out.
It was absolutely AMAZING. That 2019 playoff run was INCREDIBLE. Like you I'll remember it forever and never forget it.
Anyone else get that grin on their face like "Ya, what a season that was."

What makes this playoffs as a Sixers fan even more frustrating is seeing Jimmy Butler going off like he did the next season for literally no reason. Like wtf??
@J Fitz By most accounts he hated Brown and wanted him fired or he wasn't resigning and then team didn't want to fire him yet.
He called the whole team soft. Didn't like playing with them.. sounds like a reason
Watch Jimmy say why in the jj redick podcast
that finals run was so random. Jimmy really isn't that good 😂
@@vashthestampede9269 he never called the whole team soft… what are you talking about
What makes the whole situation dope is that he won a chip for a whole country and said
" see ya"
They knew the risks before getting him.
In hindsight, losing DeRozan and Poeltl, while I love em both, wasn't that big of a loss.
DeRozan is a great player, but him leaving allowed Siakam to fill that role, and he did that great.
Poeltl would help their center wors, but he hasn't developed nearly as much as I thought he would.
Got a championship out of it too.
Worth it

I also like how this shot mirrored Vince Carter's shot so well, both against Philly, both in the second round, both during a game 7, both a long 2 from the corner, both with the Bucks waiting for them in the ECF, both hit the rim, it just happened that one went in and one didn't.
Damn that’s crazy to think about, funny how things always come full circle lol
Also, one team in the series had a leader with braids (Iverson and Kawhi), and the Bucks they were waiting to meet were led by a #34.
@tahnalos Facts...they even spoke about Carter. I have a feeling it was one of those bits that got edited out (for length?)
