Fun fact Auburn veterinarian hospital and university, says mineral oil water to soak their food and a gummy childrens vitamin added to their food is very good for them. Also helps avoid them getting constipated from all the dry feed.

When I heard you say z was one of their names it made me think of zuko because of the other pig named toph and it also works well because zuko had they scar on one of his eyes (I know he can see through that eye)

Usually, it's fat blindness. The fat pockets build up over their eyes and actually blocks their eyesight. That's why it is very important to watch and monitor how much they eat. But most rescues are already overfed. There can be genetic reasons. Or injury. They will fight, and they do have tusk if not kept trimmed can do serious damage.

This girl had her eyelashes growing inwards whenever she was first born, so over time as she would blink it would scratch her eyes. Unfortunately we weren’t contacted about rescuing her until she was several weeks old, and the damage had already been done to cause blindness.
