- hey it's jackie wyers & welcome to another florida vlog 2022! This weekly vlog was super special because it's an ADOPTING A KITTY VLOG 🐈 + week in my life - we got our marriage license, talk decor, food shop on a target run, unexpectedly ended up at the Frisky Cat Cafe in Saint Augustine FL & met our new family member, Santana! Isn't he the sweetest?!🐾

Visited Frisky Cat Cafe in Saint Augustine! They are very thorough and you have to apply and only give cats to homes that would be the best fit. Amazed at what they do - please visit and support them if you are near by! you will leave with kitty scratches tho lol

Awww u did good to take one..and now the next step is to take him another buddy 🤣 he'll be so much Happier with one of his kind :) although he ll have all the human love possible, they always miss someone speaking their language, exactly as us human would always miss something without another human 💖💖
aww I'd love a second cat but he is VERY scared of other cats! He had to be in a cage and not roam with the other cats at the cafe because he would get so upset. They let us adopt him because we don't have any other animals! He's in indoor cat who was left outside by another owner and got attacked by strays, so he's very much not a fan of other kitties at all😬

May i make a suggestion on your beautiful kitty, your kitty may want a playmate especially if your schedule gets too hectic or your too tired to play with your kitty. Also, I’m not sure what kitty litter you bought but I use pine pellets for my kitty litter, there’s less dust more sanitary and I find its cheaper then traditional litter. And maybe try feeding your kitty a raw diet, there’s so may benefits to feeding a raw diet. Also a good tip is to watch Jackson Galaxy, he is literally a cat whisperer. Love your vlogs :D
I totally get why people are suggesting this but the kitty is terrified of other cats! He had to be kept in another cage because being around other cats would stress him out so much and he's literally poop himself, poor thing. We didn't have any other pets so that's why he went to us! I love Jackson Galaxy, he's has great videos.
I'm looking into the raw diet, we were told to give him what he is used to for a couple days but his stomach is still not settled & I feel so bad for him :( We give him probiotics but it's not helping. The raw diet might be the way to go!!

luckily he's micro chipped & the cafe owner said he doesn't like collars! He's up to date on all his vaccinations, he's a couple years old so it's not quite like getting a kitten :)
