This video was very helpful because I feel like I will definitely have a client come in presenting with these same issues and after listening to Dr. Grande handle it so calmly it makes me see the situation in a different way.
I watched this video after doing not so well on a quiz and often find myself disappointed when I do not do well as I am usually an A student. I was able to identify with this client and through watching her anxiety processed using CBT was helpful as a student in decreasing my own anxiety and learning how these techniques can be utilized as a counselor.
This video clearly shows techniques used to work with someone having anxiety related to school. Dr. Grande was able to help the client begin to see thing from another perspective.
i concur with Five Dollar Scott... this is a common issue that we will all deal with at some point in our counseling careers. Again its the systematic step by step process of destructuring the cleint's automatic thought process that appeals to me most.
Hey Dr. Grande, are you able to provide a link to the "Thought Responses" form that you are providing to your clients? I am very much enjoying your videos as a new-er clinician. Thank you for creating them and sharing them for free!

I’m curious to see what a progress note for this role play would be liked
Dr Grande can you do a counseling session with an introvert?
