I found a cheap way to make my 99 suburban look just like the Yukon Denali being made by GMC today by using cowles custom Chrome molding found at AutoZone to bring old to the 21st century

What is the tempature where you are that you needed a heat gun- or is it just that strong to mold normally? 🤔

Not a very high temperature, it bends pretty good when it's decently warm to the touch
You don't want to get it hot because its like plastic on the outer

I've used the 3M super strength to attach fancy gas and brake pedals and it held up for years on my daily driver

As far as being knocked off the vehicle? its actually pretty strong adhesive holding it on, you generally have to forcefully remove this stuff
