Great video about a truly magnificent car. It was only yesterday that I eventually got around to reading about it in last months Classic Ford magazine. The look on Adam's face when Mark nailed it was absolutely priceless!! A mate of mine used to have an RS500 that was turned up and would hit 170. That was pretty mental and one of only 2 cars I've been in that pinned you back in the seat with G's pulling at your face. This is obviously up a level to that and I can only imagine just how frikkin mental it must be to take it out and give it some. Cheers.

One of the best videos I have seen in my life - thanks so much everyone who has ever been involved with this amazing iconic Cossie - Wow - it's made my year!!
Years ao my boss bought an Escort cosworth. I did some repairs to ther gearbox. Then took it for a test drive down Cheshire lanes. When i got back and walked into the workshop i was shaking. The experience was unreal.
Adam it’s nice to think that decent cossies are already worth double what they were making five years ago! (Well that’s your new garage paid for anyway buddy!) Great video, thanks for sharing 🙏👌🇬🇧
On the way home from work one day and this white Sapphire Cosworth appeared on my back bumper. No worries, I'll show him - sat in my E36 M3 evo .... I casually rolled into the throttle at the National speed limit sign expecting to glance in the mirror and see it receeding, oh no.. He nearly rear ended me! The harder I tried the closer he seemed to get. Off the motorway roundabout onto a duel carriage way, I knew it was coming.. Whhhaaaappp Tsssssh, gun shot and flames and past he went. Hard on the brakes for the next roundabout, I've gained a little, he hits the big bump, left, right swings the tail and round he goes! We are now facing each other with tire smoke floating past from his locked tires, both laughing hard. That's my first meeting of Rod and this car. We pulled over and had a good chat and he took me up the road in it, unbelievable car, so fast. R.I.P Rod.
2 stone cold legends in the Cosworth world and imo your best vid to date 👍❤️👌 I absolutely love big long gears on a turbo car, this is what separates Cosworths from Impreza/Evo.
in my various conversations with rod over the years i always found him to be an excellent bloke, very very smart, he worked on Concorde and was very humble in real life lost count of the number of times people would get wound up on passionford by him, go looking for him to give him a kicking at a show, then find a little bloke the size of ronnie corbett and feel really embarrassed 🤣 best bit of advice he ever gave me was "don't worry about it, it's only the internet" rip rod, true gent and absolute legend
I always like the part where they open the bonnet and start talking in a foreign language. 'It's got a 4 inch top en reducer dry sump, with a pressure regulated vacuum lifter rod'. The other guy is like ahh yes ofcourse that makes sense.

The panic/redness and smile on your face says it all !! 😉👍🏴
Awesome video and car. Watched that video of it running 200mph many times back in the day. Martin is a legend 👌
Cheers.
Adam...I was grinning as much as you were when mark let it rip, time's like these you will never forget!.
@AdamSmithGiveaway. scammers GFYS.
I was lucky enough to travel withe the late, great Mark Lovell in his tuned cossie back in the day. He combined consumate pilot skills with innate RS capability So good to see the old icons still running with the pack big thanks
One of the best videos I have seen in my life - thanks so much everyone who has ever been involved with this amazing iconic Cossie - Wow - it's made my year!!
Adam your reaction from that first pull was brilliant what a machine quality mate. Hats off to mark too top bloke
What a car!!!!! and what a lovely humble guy Mark is too, so knowledgeable. Great video.
I recognize all those roads, that bypass is famous for enjoying cars
Brilliant video, was a child in the Cosworths era ethereal cars then and now
Years ao my boss bought an Escort cosworth. I did some repairs to ther gearbox. Then took it for a test drive down Cheshire lanes. When i got back and walked into the workshop i was shaking. The experience was unreal.
Another Ford legend, fantastic video Adam and amazing to see its being kept as Rod would have wanted.
My neighbour has a MAD Development tuned Cosworth on a built engine. He let me have a go…it’s mental!!
What a humble guy who respects the car as it should be! And that sound on boost wowowow👌👌👌👌👌
R.I.P Rod.
By far the best reaction video i have ever seen, what a machine, awesome!!
2 stone cold legends in the Cosworth world and imo your best vid to date 👍❤️👌
I absolutely love big long gears on a turbo car, this is what separates Cosworths from Impreza/Evo.
What a fantastic build. What a technical and creative genius this man is. I'm absolutely blown away. Great video Adam. Great channel. Namaste x
in my various conversations with rod over the years i always found him to be an excellent bloke, very very smart, he worked on Concorde and was very humble in real life
lost count of the number of times people would get wound up on passionford by him, go looking for him to give him a kicking at a show, then find a little bloke the size of ronnie corbett and feel really embarrassed 🤣
best bit of advice he ever gave me was "don't worry about it, it's only the internet"
rip rod, true gent and absolute legend
I always like the part where they open the bonnet and start talking in a foreign language. 'It's got a 4 inch top en reducer dry sump, with a pressure regulated vacuum lifter rod'. The other guy is like ahh yes ofcourse that makes sense.
All that matters is your here enjoying it with us!
God bless the old boy nice to see you are keeping it as he had it
