When ANet bans people, they should total use this commando thing, they'll like call a hit on you and you get chased down by commandos.
In gw1 when a player was banned, Dhuum came out of the ground and took a scythe at the player. It was the most badass thing you could witness.

in Guild Wars 1 there was an event where you could play as a Commando. You had to go back to the past to save Gwen`s mother Loved it!

The amount of work put into this video is fantastic, even for an April Fools joke. All of the animations created for it that will NEVER be used for anything else shows how much they really cared.

Did you see GW1? You could actually a play a whole mission chain (parodying Terminator) using these guys.

Best part was that they added a hype campaign to GW to make people wonder.
They're gunna have a shortened execute called "T-Bag" and a 10-second-stun on their pistol. Just being realistic you know, a commando would know the best place to hit someone.
I've also heard there will be CoD compatibility so you can import your characters, that'll happen shortly after ANet is bought by Activision.

@Buzterr94 I think the guy that actually composed it answered this question a while back (he works for Anet). It's just a piece he composed a year before this trailer was made and thought it was a good match. There's no official song or longer version, it's just what you see in the video.

honestly now that i think about it this could be a sort of non canon event or fic were some soldiers end up on tyria and slowly learn about the world and hide their presence by secretly protecting people like the leaders and the pc.

I wish a fantasy game out there actually combined things like Modern shooter style gameplay VS fantasy/medievil monsters, usually when its shooter types its against zombie type or mutants like Fallout, but never a dragon like you'd see in WOW, GW etc.

It's totally going to be the equivalent to Dhuum ban system in GW1. The A.R.E.N.A squad will arrive with a helicopter and kill or arrest you, depending if it's perma ban or temp ban.

May be a joke, but you should also recall that the future commandos appeared in GW1 on April Fool's day, and clearly some work went into this, so I smell an event each year.. in the beta you can already pick up items that give specific skills and there are quite a few event driven form changes, so why not? this would be cool every so often... hell, even social clothes like the cooks outfit (or the frying pan toy with the Grease Fire skill,,,was epic) :D

firstly do what kakkashin said, but also remember that it could be your internet? also, because windows 8 is only recent, Guild Wars 2 may not be fully compatible with the software, and so you will find that it is slow. Hopefully they will release a patch for windows 8 users

it is an actual class if you head to Divinity's Reach theres trainer for that class to become one for 100g

Since Dhuum (Guild Wars' version of the Grim Reaper) is the mechanic used for banning people in the original game, I get the feeling they'll use these guys to ban people in GW2. I can see it now: Some bot spamming an advert for a gold selling site, and all of a sudden 3 helicopters come in and gun it down xD
