Oh man, this video hit me in a personal level, it's like you somehow managed to get into my head and every single line you uttered, spoke volumes about how should I start treating myself better.
Hi Thiago, I'm from Sri Lanka and never forget to watch your videos. Actually, speaking any language is just like learning to swim. Without jumping into the water, we cannot learn to swim because it's a practical thing. So, if we want to develop our speaking skills, we have to speak. The most important thing in language learning is the interaction with other speakers, and that's the best way to improve speaking. We've seen many English graduates who are unable to speak a few sentences correctly at a stretch. The reason is that they have developed only one aspect of the language and not speaking. Also, we have seen some people speaking just like native speakers. They don't have any English qualifications at all, but they speak fluently. The reason is that they have learned to speak through social interaction. For example, many people in areas where foreign tourists come here in Sri Lanka speak very well. This is because of the constant exposure to the language. So, as the saying goes, "Practice makes perfect," it's important for everyone to practise English on a daily basis.
Hello Thiago! I'm korean who lives in Seoul. I was looking for some podcast to improve my listening skills. Then, the other day I accidently saw your video on the channel called 'RealLife English'. Then I found your own channel. I was really impressed what you said on the video. Your background and experiences in Brazil, At first, I didn't know that Brazil don't use an English. I just thought they spoke English for some reason(?) lol In the video, you said we need to get out of the comfort zone. When you were studying English, You talked to people who were sitting in the cafe and looked like a foreinger. If I was(were) me, I definitely couldn't talk to foreigner. It feels like it's so scary and frightening to me. But these days, I've been trying to talk by English with a native speakers. It's still nervous for me to speak clearly and fluently. But I'm going to keep studying and learning English for me. I appreiate your video, especailly subtiles on the video really come in handy to shadowing. I'm trying not to use translator as much as I can. So there are a lot of mistakes in my sentence, I guess. Anyway, have a nice day! Thanks you :)
Gostei muito. Primeiro contato com o podcast hoje. Esse vídeo me ajudou, pois com a dicção e tranquilidade do Thiago pude entender muito do conteúdo. 😊
Hi Thiago, I've just subscribed your channel. I never do it. You're an amazing teacher.... One of the best I've ever known, if not the best. If you want to learn Italian, I'll be honored, delighted help you to do that. You have a real potential to become an extraordinary polyglot. Indeed! Congrats. Fabrizio, Grosseto, Toscana, Italia
Hello,Thiago...how are you.I am Dahlan from indonesia Riau province.l like most what you are talking about.Especialy term of fix and grow mind set.imposter syndrom. Thanks bro...about yours.
I would say that you are experienced enough to give instructions in English and become fluent but I want to ask you if you can teach us how to read actively and face the challenges head-on so as not to be illiterate in reading in English I say that because I am an educated person and I’d love to read researches in English not in my language and thank you in advance Mr Thiago
I think I used to have a fixed mindset, but when I reached 30, I realized that nothing would ever change in my life this way, so now I do my best to keep and develop growth mindset. I guess having a fixed mindset is so safe and easy: it's like you always have a reason not to face challenges and to avoid pain, right? :) When I decided to join the English speaking club here is my city (a big one), I was sooo hesitating and resisting in the beginning, considering that I'm an introvert :) But now, when I attend regularly, I don't only practice English, but I've made some really close American/Australian/European friends. So getting out of that comfort zone always pays off so much! Thank you for the deep interesting topics Thiago❤
This video should be in every English learning playlist. You do a really great job! Thank you for your dedication and also for the day-to-day improvement that I feel in my path to fluency 🫶

Your t-shirt is beautiful. I like very much
Tiago I will be glad to take place in you lessons because I have not a lot of practice to lead conversation and I stuck at intermediate level.
That was my bad. Without confidence, thinking too much about how long it was taking to get fluency…
love
Teacher, how long will each conversation class last on Tuesdays? One hour?
Hello, Milly. Each session is 90 minutes long. You can learn all the details here: www.englishwiththiago.com/b24
If I can understand this video without subtitles does it mean I’m at a good level?
Tenho uma pergunta Tiago, seu curso está em português ou inglês?
Olá, Wellington. Todo meu conteúdo, inclusive o curso de pronúncia, é 100% em inglês.
