Hello Thiago, I have just listened to your whole podcast - I arrived here by accident or unintentionally due to the Google algorithm. I am a native English speaker (I was born just outside the London conurbation area {literally 250 metres outside}). I listened because I thought you might have offered ideas for my ongoing journeys into both Spanish & French. You did. Can I first very much congratulate you on your proficiency in English. I would certainly score you as a C2 speaker. For what it's worth, although I _can_ tell you're not a native speaker, I _could not_ determine your native language until you stated you're Brazilian. *WELL DONE!* You have given me some food for thought in what you explained about your studies which I shall try to employ as tactics for myself. Just like you, since taking up learning Spanish, I've not been out of this country at all to go anywhere - so I practice with natives here in the UK whenever or wherever I can find some and get the opportunity. The advice I'd pass onto your students and followers is to quote Winston Churchill; quite simply - *Never give up, **_never EVER give up!_* Little by little every day, you'll get there eventually - but don't forget to enjoy the journey and laugh at the mistakes too. Although I currently speak neither French nor Spanish as well as you do English, becoming proficient in both has opened a lot of opportunities for me here in the UK just liaising with European companies who want to market their goods here (I have yet to approach the Central & South Americas). It has been worth the investment timewise and I will concur that I also derive great satisfaction in being able to read and / or understand quite complicated ideas written or spoken in both Spanish & French. _Puedo hacerlo & Je peux le faire!_ Keep it up & best wishes.

Hi Thiago! I'm Japanese living in Australia. I'm currently stuck at the B2 level, and it's really frustrating that I can't express my thoughts even though I can understand others most of the time. Instead of blaming myself for my lack of English skills, I realized I needed to celebrate my small victories in everyday life. Thank you for the great reminder! I won't give up and will keep learning with curiosity and a flexible attitude. ❤️

Bro you literally described the same experience I had working, I used to work in a store located in downtown of my city last year when I was 18 (which is very visited by tourist and foreigners as well), and I tried to make conversations with literally any foreign customer who would walk in and talk as much as possible, and after assisting them I also would ask them for feedbacks, advices and stuff so I feel really identified with you. Greetings from México.

I feel represented by you because, in Brazil, where fewer people speak English, it's challenging to learn English (nobody speaks, nobody practice with you) and we need to take initiative and create our methods to learn, however, technology, like you said, makes it possible
Thiago, you remind me, I'm 30 now, I realized I like english since I was 6 years, and all my life I had english around me because of my dad, he was listening music in english and reading books, I'm glad I have my dad influence, now I can speak with native people, I have conversational english level, I'm trying to get a job as a customer service and I know I will, glad that I found your channel, congrats from Peru.

Hi Thiago! I've finished listening to your podcast. I love it. Your video is inspiring! I'm at level A2 according to the CEFR. My goal for this year is to reach B1 by December, I hope! Every single day, I record my voice speaking in English, and I watch movies and TV shows with subtitles. Sometimes I use English subtitles instead of Portuguese. I started watching with English subtitles about a week ago. My goal with English is to be understood by native speakers when I talk, and I also want to understand them when they speak
First of all I would like to thank you very much for the greatest video that I have watched on TH-cam platform of how we become fluent in English. Second of all, I would like to interduce myself, My name is Basil and I am form Saudi Arabia. Thank you for your sharing. I'm from south Korea currently learning English now. I just ran into this video thanks to algorithm. I listened to it while I was doing some dishes. :(( But I study a lot, and btw I understood, that I started to love English! if only for the sake of it, it was worth starting to try to enroll
I've always lived in Mexico and went to college to learn English, but what really worked for me was having conversations with myself anywhere. I started as an English teacher, and I switched to teaching Spanish after 13 years. Best decision ever; I work from home. Now I've finally improved my English because of my interaction (at least 5 hours a day) with native students from the US. Saludos.
My English has definitely been improving thanks to these podcasts.
Thanks Thiago! You're a inspiration for all of us to continue improving our English's learning!
Thank you to share with us your beautfull learning process. I´m Angolan, 37 year old, trying to find motivation to improve my inglish
Thanks for share your story. 😊
That's the attitude! Keep learning!
me either. i can't express my thoughts, my head is automatically translate from my native language to english, it take many time for me to say something, so i'm very shy to talk to someone in english :(((
Where are u living in Australia? I’m living in Australia as well.. we can practice
I am a Colombian senior, and it has been very pleasant to observe this entire class and get to know you. Thank you very much, I will continue watching it.
This journey is so exciting! I'm so glad of you, 'cause you're helping so many people from so many different country. Only a brazilian know how it's difficult to us to learn this language, there's no any support from the schools, government.... well, I'm happy that I found your channel. Take care and keep helping other people to get it!!!
Congratulations Thiago for your new Channel. Your story really inspire me to keep learning english.
I have been studying English language for three weeks and can understand sixty percent of what is said. It's a nice life story . I feel more excited. Great job!
I’m from KSA🇸🇦 and I trying to improve my English language as a beginner student by using TH-cam Courses then I found your video in the suggestions and I watched it, that was really helpful video😊

hi Thiago, i just want to say I find this channel by luck as well as i have just listened the whole podcast , I have recently became a teacher (lower level students) I like to continue to become higher level in my specking and teaching Thx to you and your motivation.
I feel represented by you because, in Brazil, where fewer people speak English, it's challenging to learn English (nobody speaks, nobody practice with you) and we need to take initiative and create our methods to learn, however, technology, like you said, makes it possible
Thank you, Thiago for this special podcast about your experiance that inspired me to learn English. Hello from Belarus
My pleasure!
I really liked your learning story, it really motivates me to continue learning!
Saludos desde México 🇲🇽
Saludos! Glad you found it helpful!
I've been learning English for almost 4 years , maybe IM good in listening, in reading or in writing , but i feel really bad in my speaking skil , and now i know what be my fault , Im too focus to understand every single word but, Im forgot to practice that word in real life
To everyone who still try to learning English keep it going , because someday it Will be worth it
Thanks for your podcast. I have understood about 90-95% without subtitles. It is my litle win!
That's great!
First of all I would like to thank you very much for the greatest video that I have watched on TH-cam platform of how we become fluent in English. Second of all, I would like to interduce myself, My name is Basil and I am form Saudi Arabia. Therefore, as an English learner as a second language I am so proud of myself that I understood the whole video or the podcast with my own inputs and to be more clear I have been learning English for many years like 4 years ago until now. However, here you have a new subscriber in your channel 😃. So I would like to thank you again for your efforts.
I'm Brazilian, I've been studying English for a year and a half and I say that sometimes it’s a mix of good and bad feelings, it’s very challenging to learn a second language. After hearing your story, I was more motivated to continue studying. Thanks !
Great to get to hear your story! Very much inspired. I am a Korean aged 63.
Awesome! Keep learning!

I am very happy to find you because your way of speaking is very simple and I understand almost everything. You are very charismatic and relaxed. Thanks for your content. Blessings to you. From Chile.
Welcome to the channel!
Sometimes I feel frustrated because I understand 99% of what you say. But I still can't speak well. 😢
@english with thiago
Me too
same problem.
Because you listen more than speak;you are building your comprehensible skills without speaking, is similar that you have a book of how to drive a car -you read it ,and you can answer any questions about driving, but you can't drive in the real life. I have the same problem.
I am also😢
Hi Thiago ,how are you? You’re a very nice Teacher and I can understand you pretty well because your pronunciation is very clear .I’ve studied english for two years but I don’t have people with whom speaking .I speak with myself in front of the mirror or during the commute in my car .I always listen to your podcast on you tube and I appreciate your advice .Thanks so much for your help. You’re amazing!
Oh thank you for this great video! It’s really helpful
Your story is so beautiful and inspiring ❤I can’t thank you enough for sharing it. I started my own English learning process when I get retired. Now I have fulfilled my English B2 certificate and I am aiming for the IELTS exam next April. I hope you have a good strategy to share for preparing it by own self
I am impressed by such strong motivation and consistency and of course the English fluency.

Thank you, Cinthia! Yeah, keep watching the videos!
Thank you for the motivating story. I was also studying English without tutor for 2 years. And now, I am also 21 years old and I also decided to try myself in teaching English as a foreign language. You story motivated me to not give up. Because I have a lot of students now and lack of materials and I am taking private classes for myself as well. Thank you for you content and working 😊
Congratulations Thiago.
Your Journey is a big example of motivation for all of students.
Nice video and a very good story of yours. I've been studying English for years now. The secret on learning a new language for me it has been to re-reading all my favourite books (movies as well) on original language. Than of course, i spent 3 years living and working in Uk, to improve better the skills on comunication. In this days, that i'm living back in my town (Italy) i still keep my English on regular weekly traning.
Hi Thiago! First of all, I'm a subscriber to the channel "RealLife English", but I didn't know this channel of yours. You're one of my inspirations to become fluent in English. I practice every day, I love grammar rules by the way and I try to become better at them. Last but not least. I really appreciate the knowledge you share with us!
Glad to know you love grammar rules. I've always loved studying grammar as well. And I can tell you study grammar because your comment was really well written. Great job and keep it up!

Vocé é nota 1.000 e me ajuda bastante a melhorar meu inglês. Sua história é inspiradora. Parabéns !!
Great class teacher Thiago, thanks very much for sharing your life story with us. It will definitely make us more confident moving forward.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I'd like to share with you this small victory. I understood every simgle word that you said. Thank you for this video.
Thank you for your sharing. I'm from south Korea currently learning English now. I just ran into this video thanks to algorithm. I listened to it while I was doing some dishes. And I realized the fact that just listening without subtitle is more comfortable than listening with subtitle. Lol. If the subtitle is on I tried to read it rather than to listen. And now I understand why people always say to English learners to listen podcasts or something. And you know what, your Portuguese based pronoucation is very comfortable to native Korean somewhat. Thanks again. And I hope to see you in your podcast more.
I watched completely the first episode of this podcast and it was awesome, thanks very much Thiago for your work
Thank you thiago for realizing me, how important english language is,
You are hero for the people who wanted to learn english
I'm flattered! Thanks for watching.
Thanks a bunch, Teacher Thiago!! I'm from Ribeirão Preto/SP and you said everthing I needed to hear right now!
Happy to find you... I was missing your voice and insights. God bless you in this New Project.

I'm originally Japanese, born and raised in Japan, and I started to learn English last May.
No studying abroad, no experience working with English speakers.
I've been struggling to develop my skills.
I got motivation from this video!!
I subscribed to your TH-cam and Spotify.
I look forward to watching every episode.
You can do it! Thanks for your support!
It's amazing how can i undertand everything you say. I'm super unsure about my pronunciation and my skills in english. I studied english when i had 13 years i think. Since then i never spoke again with another person. Right now i'm working as a QA Analyst in the word of programming, so i lost a lot of opportunities to stay in a good job with a huge salary for don't speak fluent in english. This podcast was interesting i like it, i love your pronunciation, so i hope one day to be like you !!!
Obrogado
I could clearly understand each word, each sentence and all the message. I felt stuck, I had no clue how to enhance my level. But after listening to your podcast, I got insights. Thanks
Gratitude for anything that you make for teach english
I decided to learn English since I met my best England friend in 2022. I got a huge desires to become a fluent English speaker at that moment, so I go for it! Honestly, I didn’t attend any private English class in these days , I just follow some English channels, podcast and immersing myself into English app. In my point, the most difficult part is first step cause I almost knew nothing in English, but if you handing on it for a month, a year, you’ll better and better! English learning progress is depend on your determination! That’s All!
Thanks for watching!
A good English teacher I ever know, provide substile for leaners to easy understanding.

This was a very inspiring podcast, thank you for sharing this with us. I’m still learning English (I’m from Mexico), and hearing your story is so full of messages like ‘if I can do this, you can too. But work for it. Don’t give up”.
Thiago, you're a real motivator!:) I started learning English more diligently about 2 years ago by watching TH-cam videos and movies (of course, with subtitles), reading books in English. The main problem is speaking.. due to practice..
And I want to thank you for your work..I've been watching videos with you for two years:)
Teacher Thiago, congratulations! As a Brazilian I am proud of you. Your story moved me, and I'm sure it will be a model for many students - not just English - to seek and achieve their dreams. I'm already your fan.
