      School doesn't proove anything. Its just a pack of stuff people think you need to know when in reality you don't need to know at all. Well maybe you do but not all that stuff... When you are in 7-9 grade I think you already know things that are important and in 10-12 grades you basicaly learn bunch of stuff that doesn't even matter - atleast to me at all... Maybe some things do deppends what you want in life but for me I just don't care at all.

    I used to be a HUGE Kobe hater. As of lately I have developed a new found respect for Kobe. I started reading and watching about his work ethic, his mental attitude, his professional mentality, and his competitive nature to win. Even his arrogance is an almost inspiration to me, if you don't like him or what he does he does not care at all. I've taken on his mindset that he does not deal with lazy people at all

    That final look in Kobe's face, a battered, tired and worn down man by some of the great competitive players through out his career. I was never a Kobe fan just like many others, but I have huge respect for his game and everything that he has brought in the NBA. Weather he become a champion again or not, most likely not, his name will be in the same sentence of MJ, Magic, Isiah, kareem, and all the other greats..

      What’s even more eerie is that the interviewer mentioned his arm falling off. Well in the autopsy report it said that Kobe did lose his arm. I think they knew what they were going to do to him. Even the cartoon that showed him in a helicopter crash. They knew. I think Kobe knew when his contract was going to be up.

      at1212 b the same curse all of humanity has...we all get old physically...but our mind doesn’t forget how we used to move when we were young.
      I’m 25, I may not be there yet, but I see it through my parents. When I was a lil kid, they didn’t complain about body aches the way they do nowadays. The older you get, the more you appreciate youth. Because you realize it isn’t permanent.

    Even though Kobe is not quite the greatness of MJ -- who just simply stands above everyone in his basketball prowess -- I think I respect Kobe more as a human being.
    I remember when Kobe won his second title in 2001 (LA only had one loss all playoffs) and I hated him because I thought he was cocky and lucky to be on that team. When he finally won his second title in 2010, I could definitely say I had become a fan of him as a player, but not a fan of him as a person (I remember saying those exact words multiple times). Now... I can 100% say I'm a fan of him as an all-around human. This guy has been in some dark, tough (even self-inflicted) places... and learned through them and became a real man. Few people can suffer the hatred of so many, suffer the failure as a husband and father, the glaring eyes around the world at every mistake, his own weakness as a man, and still overcome, change, and find beauty in the end. He is REAL. He inspires me to learn from my own darkness and failures, and to use it all to become something great for myself. Not too many people can do that for me. I'm lucky I lived to see it.
    And on top of ALL that he's still a top 10 player (just a tiny afterthought).

    • @at1212b
      @at1212b 9 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      eskimo289 Watch Shaq when he won in 2000. He was crying. He felt the criticism, the doubt. He Earned it. Just like MJ cried at his first championship. Kobe during the first 3 peat was like a little punk.
      But when you saw him in the 2nd run (repeat), he was much more emotional, and humble because he knew how tough it was. Those ones, he earned it. (although Gasol is incredibly underrated in those victories).

      +Eric Yi no one got that fire anymore. the nba is plagued by money only and controlled by the league when it comes to stripes. although the game is awesome internationally. no one knows the game from back then. what the game really is missing is physical defenders. Curry is damn amazing. but in the 80s and 90s someone would of knocked him out by now. I know Bruce Bowen will definitely stick his foot near CUrry feet hoping that he twist his ankle. Dirty ass play. But in the NBA today there's no such thing as do what you got to do to survive and win. WHen Lebron's draft class all retire. The NBA is done.

      @@certifiedpoptartenthusiast558 LeBron James it's not only less physical than both of them he is worse in every way. LeBron James should never even be mentioned in the same sentence with the greats like Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant LeBron isn't fitting to step on the same courts that Michael Jordan and Kobe played on

    • @jwahmed09

      Austin Giguere it’s not time for debate anymore after Kobe’s death bro. A tragedy like this should teach you to embrace a different sort of greatness that LeBron brings instead of just comparing him to someone who in your opinion is better. LeBron MJ and Kobe are the best 3 players to ever set foot on a basketball court and lets be honest, it really doesn’t matter who’s better than who, it’s really down to personal preference
