I have Colonia Intensa and Fico di Amalfi, both are amazing! Colonia Intensa is a great Italian style scent and the peachy fig in Fico di Amalfi makes it a rock star in spring and summer.
This is a house I've been wanting to learn more about, so thank you for this. And I love that you pointed out how most people don't have hundreds of dollars to drop on a single bottle of smell good juice.
I can't get enough of ADP. I started with the Colonia line, and just recently began delving into the Blu Mediterraneo line. The scents and quality are second to none, simply amazing. They're all decants btw, I totally hear and agree with your take on niche prices, hence the decants. But I must admit, it's refreshing to hear you speak on niche. As always, great video.
love AdP. found essenza in my local tjmaxx a couple years ago on clearance and that hooked me. have since bought many decants and bottles. arancia, mirto, oud, leather, mirra, and essenza are among my favorites.
I have seen these online but now I think I will actually get one or three. I know in the past that the wealthy would have handkerchiefs saturated with expensive essential oils. They would place it over their face/nose when walking through the streets especially in the poorer areas. When sanitation and hygiene were not perfect.
Great introduction to the line. I wish more houses made affordable niche style scents. Arancia di Capri is definitely good, only seems to last 30 min for me. Fico di Amalfi had a weird funk, I think fig isn't my thing. Essenza reminds me of grandma soap, probably the heavy neroli. My favorite so far is the original Colonia. A classic style men's fragrance, but much more wearable than other classic men's fragrances. Aso lasts much longer than the others I tried. I've always been curious about their Signatures of the Sun collection, oud, leather, ambra, sandalo.
I really enjoy the Mediterranean line of Acqua di Parma and have several. However, projection and longevity are quite weak. Any thoughts or suggestions.
You think like I do.....I too can't burn 300 bux on one scent, I really do love your chanel with tons of options brought to the forefront at great value and quality.
I agree with you a 100 percent " honestly lot's of these niche houses are giving you a better quality in the fragrance but with a designer scent! Lol 😆🤣😂😀 at a ridiculous price. But of course there are the few exceptions that warrent a higher price for the fragrance because of it's unique qualities. But the average cologne wearing man is not spending hundreds of dollars for a single fragrance when there are other priorities in life and tons of designer fragrance that do the job lol
Bought the colonia today. Black bottle. In yhe shop it smelt great and still does but its making me sick. Think its a bit strong and sickly. I only sprayed the smallest amount on the neck and oh boy, did i smell it.
Still laughing about, "Sitting in the corner of a hookah lounge during a poetry slam smelling your scab of a wounded thylacine". Best quote ever. You're the best!
I almost did as well. Some of the sound effects can be quite sudden, loud and jarring, and they really don't add anything to the presentation IMO. I managed to watch it all though as I was interested in hearing the review of AdP scents. I have the CLUB scent and love it, but did wonder about the Mediterraneo line. May try it going forward. I have a decant of Colonia Intensa and I like the clean scent, but as someone else implied, it reminds me of perfumed soap and I doubt the perfumer would find that complimentary.
Essenza is absolutely in my top 5. Beautiful, crisp, fresh, clean, Italian, soapy. Smells like the most wonderful soap you've ever smelled.

Futura will be my next bottle. won a free decant from BFL and I dig it. very nice.
The whole aqua di Parma line is fresh and elegant love ezzenza that stuff is powerful.

@gee. I'm fairly new to the fragrance game. Could you recommend a good place online to buy Decants? 😊
Thanks. I saw an Acqua Di Parma in TJ Maxx, but I didn't know what it was. I'll buy it next time I see it.

Enjoyed Todays video
One of the ADP fragrances, likely a colonia, smells quite similar to Eau Sauvage I've heard. Does anyone know which one?

Nice presentation 😎

Do you mean Audrey Hepburn?
Probably, haha - I believe so
0:17 - 0:27 Real talk 😂.
Bro, i had to stop listening just because of the sound effect.

Life is much better if you don't complain about little tiny things.
