I could watch Jacob hunt all day long!!! I freakin love how excited he gets, naturally, who wouldn't?? I mean just an incredible hunt!!! Probably the 4th time I've watched this!!!
Probably my 4th or 5th time watching this video, just love it! Yall have So much Public Access it's unreal! Happy for you, I hunt in south Alabama and live in the Florida Panhandle (due South of the Eglin afb Reservation, my license would be like $15 + $45 for a range access card) the Reservation is appox 265,000 acres, not all accessible or huntable, as well its hunted by hundreds if not thousands of hunters, that said, I got the opportunity to get in on a hunting lease about 15yrs ago and have been a member ever since its about 90 miles from my house so not so easy to just go sit for an evening or afternoon (1.5hr's each way) there are about 26 of us and we share about 4000 acres, about 10 acres of campground with a barn and skinning shed, none of which was here 15 yrs ago, we built it and we LOVE IT, I take home about 4 deer a yr and let's just say it's about $150.00 a pound after all is said and done, we all work tremendously hard in our chosen professions as well as on this paradise I call Hunting Camp, I earned every thing I have and we hunt hard to harvest the 🦌 🦌 🦌 🦌. Is it easier than fighting for a spot on public, I would say so, would it take more than a phone call to fill an opening in our club? No there's a list and there's been a list since I became a member! I just read in the comments disparaging remarks about folks who hunt leased or private land like it's a bad thing and we're somehow cheating. It's ridiculous just enjoy your time in the woods and set your sights on what you want, I love hunting and I haven't always been where I am, 5 to 7 days a season is all we had when I was a boy and most of the time we didn't harvest anything on public land in Vermont, its too much work to be hating on others! Wow love it Jake in the rain that was wild and the filming was spot on under the conditions. Love Old Fred and the Ten Commandments. I had the great honor of meeting with him a couple times back in the day when I was shooting competition archery. Awesome guy
I've been big into ground hunting with a bow the last few years haven't got the buck I've been looking for yet that way but I've had tons of bucks within 10 yards it's fun

Glad to see Jake use some discretion on the fist bump after the shot….😂 And as much as I love the sharing of the discovery of the deer for the group participation it’s also nice to see ya get on the track when ya know it’s a smoked deer as most of us don’t film or have a group to share with. Ya did what we are forced to do in many cases due to responsibilities the next day. Another awesome job guys and premium footage!

I never would of got my self into hunting and scouting public land without watching THP and one of my best friends who moved up to ky from Florida. Killed my first giant mainframe 8 last season on public with my elite valor compound and here it is not even June in ky and I’m already prepping for this upcoming season. Jake that was one of the coolest hunts I have ever seen on video. It was like pulling an old Tom off a group of hens. I love using natural techniques to draw in animals. Most hunters would never attempt a hunt like this. Great job and congratulations guys!
