Not quite true. I started Monitor Audio along with Martin Collums. We developed the first speaker called the MA1. The first protype was first on show at our listening rooms in our retail shop AUDIO T in Cambridge. Mo Iqbal was brought in later as production manager. Both Martin and I left to pursue other interests leaving Mo as the sole proprietor. The rest is history.
Thats not true. The FIRST TT did have a separate power supply. I should know as I assembled part of the first batch of 25. It also was just a TT, it did not have a built-in preamp at all.
