It was a heated moment and he made a mistake, he thought his ego was bigger than the team and he was a partial reason the best player on the team left and cost them championship titles. That's a teachable moment. You're never too big to apologize.

He also couldn't handle the fact that the fans weren't going to validate his championships because he joined the very team that eliminated him from the Finals.
