    Lord Jesus Christ, son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner.

Will it be very difficult for someone to actually explain and show how is the best way to practice, to learn from the best. Thank you. God bless you.

    • @johnmatulessy7201

      Do not start with the breathing. It is clearly said that in the beginning you must practice by saying it out loud if it is possible for two or three month until your inner-self grasp it. But if you are a busy person you can say the prayer silently without drawing people's attention on you. Only after your inner-self can "get it" and say the prayer automatically then you may incorporate breathing into it. When you incorporate breathing to your prayer it is your inner-self that saying the prayer, not your mouth.

      Theoria in brief is the illumination of man's mind so as to be able to see God's Uncreated Glory. Or in other words it is the restoration of man's mind in its proper Godly-oriented situation. You may read the following two articles named "Praxis and Theoria" for more information especially on the connection of Theoria with Praxis (i.e. practical virtue-effort) and Hesychia (i.e. prayer of the heart):

      Theoria is vision of Gods uncreated light. This person can perceive the Person of Christ. To receive Theoria, the heart and mind must be purified. They are cured the blood of Christ. Ie Holy communion. (Daily is better). The treatment continues by applying repentance (struggle to keep the commandments) , watchfulness of thoughts & Jesus Prayer. When the Jesus prayer is repeated, this person stays in communion with God. God fills the heart with grace which helps to slowly purify and illuminate it. "Blessed are the pure of heart for they will see God." Try starting simply. 20 min morn and night for a week. God will call you to do more when you ready. Ask the Mother of God for her help.

      Good valid question my friend. I was taught by fr Zacharias of Essex that the major difference is with the jesus prayer you are envoking His holy awesome name. Remember that always he said to me and to ask for mercy brings humility that draws down His grace.

    Jesus was speaking about himself as the Kingdom being in their midst not being INSIDE THEM, NOT TO LOOK WITHIN SELF... You are teaching the NEW AGE CULT of looking within for God in order to Ascend to enlightenment (or Godhood), was this not what the serpent said to Eve you will become Gods?
    Luke 17:21
    New International Version
    nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is in your midst.”
    New Living Translation
    You won’t be able to say, ‘Here it is!’ or ‘It’s over there!’ For the Kingdom of God is already among you.”
    You have based a whole theology on a mistranslation of one word. The Kingdom was not within them, it was AMONG THEM (JESUS)

    • @orthoglobus
      @orthoglobus  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Sorry, but your translation is not correct. The original Greek text writes
      "ἰδοὺ γὰρ ἡ βασιλεία τοῦ Θεοῦ *ἐντὸς* ὑμῶν ἐστιν" [Luke 17:21]
      which is translated as
      "for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you".
      The Greek word "ἐντὸς" means "within/inside".

    • @rowanwinston1997
      @rowanwinston1997 ปีที่แล้ว

      The kingdom of God is both within/without. We do not just breathe in for then we suffocate. We do not just breathe out or else we lose our breath. Why do you think breath is such an important part of the Jesus prayer?
