      @camo man Uhh, you are wrong buddy. Although a small number, in the United Kingdom, 6 women have died in Iraq and 3 in Afghanistan. In the United States and as of 2013, 149 women have died in combat in either Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, or Kuwait. Israel, although not fighting in Afghanistan or Iraq, have had 530+ women die in the military. Although women make up a smaller part of the military, their sacrifices are exactly the same as men's.

      @@Culperrr I think he was using a hyberbole to say that a small amount of women die in combat compared to men. Although wrong to say their lives don't matter, I think it is also wrong to say women sacrifice the same amount as men as you have clearly told us, the brave sacrifices they make are small compared to mens. I actually hope that the original reply that you replied to knows this.

    • @xoldchurchx
      @xoldchurchx 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      the truth is, ordinary farmers have no external burden from the Taliban presence. Their lives have been completely changed by the intervention of the western countries... you can say that the western countries want to defeat the taliban (which will never work, because taliban is afganistan) and you can say that the western countries want to make the life of the Taliban difficult but also of the farmers... the ordinary farmers in the countryside with about 20 inhabitants in their village have no need for "liberation" at all... the big cities in hands of Taliban, they need the "liberation"..

      Well it's getting harder and harder to make films about a war that is probably almost over. I mean honestly, the Taliban have done a good job, for lasting this long, but they are not the vietkong. They don't have a massive 1st world country, constantly re-supplying them. Their resources are low, their best soldiers and leaders are dead, and their warrior spirit is faded. It's called defeat. And when it happens, there isn't much to watch.

      @@americanmedic7465 A lot of people fail to understand the significant importance of going in there and fight to retake the region from the Taliban and other radical Islamic fighters.
      When your enemies hides in mosques to make themselves look like victims... but in turn uses Improvised explosives to hurt indiscriminately, track down Doctors and teachers that tries to improve the situation of the population and mercilessly kill them...
      While brave professional soldiers do their best to fight without causing collateral but then... their enemies surround themselves with token civilians that are used as living meat shields...
      Its not all that hard to use your judgement to see who the true invaders are.
      some people believe that the international community should stay out of the region and let those people to their own device... but quite frankly, those who ask for that are too lazy to educate themselves on how even more cruel doing nothing would be.

    These videos are amazing btw, really gives the citizens an inside look at what our brave Troops go through. I love the troops and would always want to learn how to deal with them or accommodate them in the civilian world. Some have dark senses of humor and people get mad at it, you have to realize what they’ve seen. They deal with the dark in their own way and we HAVE to understand and try to fit into THEIR world, rather than make them fit into ours. We need to learn to adapt to better serve them. It shouldn’t have to be so difficult for our vets to fit in back home, we need to take the weight off them and learn to fit in with them. I recommend always doing your best to help vets, even if you don’t agree with the war, SO MANY troops don’t agree with the battle they fight but they still do it. This is no laughing matter, PLEASE do your best to make a vets life better when given the chance, always treat them with the utmost respect. Not because you feel sorry for them because they wouldn’t want that, but because it’s the right thing to do. 🇺🇸🇺🇸 wish everyone a life of happiness😃

    all of this was literally for nothing. 20 years of war trying to equip a national security force to help protect against the taliban. the coalition/u.s. leaves and the afghan army runs and surrenders immediately. i remember talking about this when i was deployed there. "what are we doing here?" "the taliban lives here in the caves/mountains." "the coalition will one day leave and no way the afghan army is going to stop a taliban advance." "a lot of casualties for what?" sure enough...
