Yeh if the Taliban wiped out an entire platoon. There would be hellfire. Casualty is unavoidable in war but if they were to slaughter troops. We'd bomb them and everything within 5 miles to fucking hell.
It isn't explained in the video but those British soldiers held out for around 50 days before being escorted out. At the start they had support from 120 Danish soldiers who were equipped with armoured vehicles and heavy weaponry. The Danes had to withdraw taking their equipment with them and they were replaced with a lightly armed group of British soldiers which left the British heavily outnumbered. There was quite intense fighting for fifty days with the Taliban coming right up to the compound the soldiers were in with the British soldiers losing 2 men. Eventually the village elders made a deal with the Taliban and the soldiers to try and stop the fighting where the British soldiers would be escorted out and the Taliban wouldn't take the village (they eventually did).

@Tormageddon *is it* not "isnt it" good try though.
@Tormageddon also *strength* not "strenght" grammar and spelling isnt exactly your strongpoint is it?
@Tormageddon no i probably cant do that because i really dont care about what you care about. Lol stop making yourself look stupid and find something better to do than argue with people in youtube comments.
About as good and raw as it gets
Holy shit I could only understand Ross
Respect tho, I can’t understand heavy accents 😂❤️🙏🏼
lol, helps to be British.
that look when he said they are fixing bayonets was priceless. never so much said without words lol. FML
“Fierce men of the national afghan army”
30:47 - that moment when the soldier is trying to unsuccessfully light a cigarette in the middle of a fire fight is so relatable. Those damn lighters NEVER WORK WHEN NEEDED
For a documentary with those guys you really need two interpreters. One for English to Afghan and one for their jibberish to regular, understandable english :D
Ross Kemp & his camera man are more than just press men.
These guys are heroes
Give this man and his crew some riffles
Normally I would say no, definitely not. At current, they are noncombatants and are not contributing to the fight in a physical manner, so they are protected by law. But as this is the Taliban were on about here and they couldn't care less who they shoot so long as it's a foreigner, I'd at least give them sidearms for self defense.
Keishin B237 Just started watching this. Personally I’d give this guy a rifle and the camera man a sidearm but only in a really fucking necessary situation
Not Rifles but atleast Handgun.. (Glock like)
TejaS Bansode why not rifles? They’re easier to shoot at distance than handguns.
Last think you need is some civvy thinking he is Rambo.🙄🙄🙄🙄
Respect for any soldier in the world
Getting fired on by an rpg guy trying to still light his Cigarette
this experience is so valuable....should be part of management training on how to operate in stressful situations
should be compulsory... toughen you up
"fix bayonets" probably dropped morale
Ross Kemp and his crew is amazing. Salute!
15:58 “rpgs have right of way” LOL
This dude is a bad ass... Any man who walks into a firefight as well as cam man. And stick heads up so get footage are crazy lol. And this guy will do full bits with heavy fire and mortar fireand shit with a smile. Real man right here
