    As I was one day looking for a solution to stop my chairs and couches from moving I came across those pads as well and as I was about to check out, the dollar tree non slip rug pad came to my mind; bought it, cut it to fit the bottom (legs) of the chairs/couches and it worked! Just wanted to share I only spent $1! 😀

    My husband is a painting contractor and we commonly used Sherwin-Williams products. I love Argos. I’ve used this color in so many places in my home. I highly recommend people check out the color peppercorn also. It’s a beautiful deep gray. I get loads and loads of compliments on both colors. My favorite was the rolled towels, since my towel storage is on open shelves. They’ll stay neater and stack better. I stopped by a local Dollarama store last night after viewing this video, and found something I've never seen before.
    They are called 'Frog lids', essentially metal circles with a grid of squares that you put on top of a mason jar, screw in with the lid from the jar, and you can use it to hold up flowers for an arrangement.
    One of those items hanging in the wrong spot, which is likely why it caught my eye!

      you can pick up frogs (the go in the bottom of a vase) in thrift stores very cheap. Many people don't know what they are. Usually clear glass with holes in them. I don't like using tape because of the adhesive mess it leaves behind. Floral foam at dollar tree is just as cheap.

    • @dellahicks7231
      @dellahicks7231 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@abbiesayre-bodenmiller8515 I am familiar with that type of 'Frog', my cousin was a certified Horticulturist and I use to assist him when he would do arrangements for competition. They can be made of various materials, his were metal and plastic.
      The item I am talking about is not for the bottom of a jar, it is for use with the ring lid on a mason jar, would replace either a glass or tin lid insert. It would take the place of tape, which can be finicky, but better than nothing.

      I'm with you. I am an avid reader since childhood. I would never mutilate a book. I know that sounds really extreme but that's how it feels to me. I also think I can learn a lot about a person by looking at their books and their music (if they're retro enough to have cds). Books as decor makes its own statement. Of course this is only my opinion. Who else's opinion would I be expressing?

      I remember when I was watching the movie Fahrenheit 451 where they were burning the books because it was a crime to read. Ohhh my I was so upset. I am a reader but not a good one but I think doing anything to a book is totally wrong. It is disrespectful to the person who wrote that book. So do not pain anything. Just cover it with some white or painted bucher paper if you must. But my question is why do you want to hide the title of any books? No offense Liz but that "hack" is not cool in my eyes. Everything else is great as always.

    I use that bath towel fold for my guest towels but I also use them in my every day towels because they hold the towels tighter and I can store more in my linen closet. And being my mom was a florist and owned a floral shop; I use the floral grids on most of my floral arrangements, as well as just regular green pick arrangements. I also use painters tape and cut it in thin strips. TFS 💜💐🌼

    Do you know what I have been doing that everybody in my family is amazed by. I have some king size pillowcases and would use them on my regular size pillows but just put them in the back so you couldn’t see them as much but I learned you can take the extra flap that is hanging & fold it inward towards your pillow and it looks like a perfect sized pillowcase. It sounds simple and it is so simple but I am 50 years old and I never thought of doing that and has upped my pillow game!
