Yes its funny how these walking birds so many times start to think your their mom, while your a lot bigger, than their goose mom and so they start following you to guide themselves in life in general. Its so funny how these little gooses follow you everwhere and dont let you run away from them. Its like these gooses need some mom and, when they lose their actual mom. They take you as mom, because they need somebody to guide themselves in life, when they are not themselves so good at getting food.

Finding your pet injured is such a painful experience. Even in the case of a tamed animal like this goose, you just feel this sense of responsibility, that your failure was what allowed them to get hurt, even if you couldn't have done anything. I'm glad he was able to get the bird treated.

This is so cute and brings back a lot of good memories. My grandma always found abandoned eggs near her house from the Mallard ducks who lived in the lake by her house. She’d normally find one around her yard, and since she was afraid of them being eaten by snakes she’d take them in and incubate them. The babies would follow her around the house and cry when she wasn’t around. It was so precious and I’m so thankful I got to play with them as a kid, it definitely contributed to my love for birds and taught me how to be more gentle with smaller creatures :) she always released them at some point, but she’s still their mom and they will often bring their mates and the whole flock to her yard and she’ll put out food for them. It’s always fun to see like 50 ducks fly into her yard and one of them to be comfy enough to walk ahead and lead the flock to her. Its gotten to the point where she can tell you which ducks are her ducks lol. Anyway this comment is long have a nice day Update: my grandmother just got a brand new duck! She hatched today. I hope to go and see them at some point soon :D

She was extremely weak when she was born early. Mother Goose probably don't have the means to take care of a weak dying gooseling. Especially with 7 more on the way.

NO KIDDING!!!!! I had no idea how fierce geese can be until I tried to "make friends" with one and did the absolute worst thing I could have done - bent my head down, put my arms behind my back, and walked slowly toward it. It charged at me with truly terrifying speed and bit me twice through my jeans, and it HURT! I've never run so fast in my life! The next day I had two huge bruises where it got me. I've never forgotten the speed and ferocity of that goose. And they're very protective of the people they bond with. So yeah, this guy is protected :)

Nature can be cruel. Working with wildlife rescues & vets, often see many types birds, squirrels, racoons that push newborn baby out of nest for whatever reason, not always ill or deformed. Naure can be cruel it seems but it's survival of fittest, sometimes animal just not "mom material", no instincts, even cats, dogs, farm animals 😢
She only just learns to fly, she gets the confidence to go for an adventure for the first time and some ass hat just runs her over. Thank goodness for people like Brian.

Geese can’t fly without run for a distance so I think Waddles didn’t have enough time to get out. I’d think that the person had slow down, or she won’t just lost one wing but her life. That being said, if that person did it on purpose then I think Satan would welcome them to hell gladly.
It was very wholesome until she lost her one of the wing, glad father helped her to survive with other people assistance. So, good to know humanity is still alive with humility and kindnesses.

When she was playing with him, and he said “Ow!”, she was bonded enough with him to pull back extremely fast and give him a look that said: “Sorry dad! Did that hurt? I went a little too far.” Such respect for this man and his amazing goose.

NO KIDDING!!!!! I had no idea how fierce geese can be until I tried to "make friends" with one and did the absolute worst thing I could have done - bent my head down, put my arms behind my back, and walked slowly toward it. It charged at me with truly terrifying speed and bit me twice through my jeans, and it HURT! I've never run so fast in my life! The next day I had two huge bruises where it got me. I've never forgotten the speed and ferocity of that goose. And they're very protective of the people they bond with. So yeah, this guy is protected :)

Nature can be cruel. Working with wildlife rescues & vets, often see many types birds, squirrels, racoons that push newborn baby out of nest for whatever reason, not always ill or deformed. Naure can be cruel it seems but it's survival of fittest, sometimes animal just not "mom material", no instincts, even cats, dogs, farm animals 😢

@@OninDynamics It is actually hard to see things and if they’re at a high speed, it’s going to be hard for them to slow down. Geese can’t fly without run for a distance so I think Waddles didn’t have enough time to get out. I’d think that the person had slow down, or she won’t just lost one wing but her life. That being said, if that person did it on purpose then I think Satan would welcome them to hell gladly.
It was very wholesome until she lost her one of the wing, glad father helped her to survive with other people assistance. So, good to know humanity is still alive with humility and kindnesses.
