For those that do not know. After returning home the next day, Ananda had picked me up from our local float plane terminal. We decided to stop and get some covid tests as I was not feeling good since the day before leaving Los Angeles. (I barely took my mask off as I was afraid that I had covid). ( I had taken a self test the day before to get back into Canada and it came back negative) After arriving home, I decided to take a test right away. After the 15 minutes of waiting, the test came back positive for covid. It freaked me out! Ananda at this point was not masking up and she was not vaccinated, only I was. We were scared for a few days. Then it happened, Ananda started to get the symptoms! Here we were, both sick with covid. She took a test also and tested postive. We actually had to seek medical assistance at our local hospital. We were both strugggling to breathe. We were both then sent home, but two days later, Ananda was still struggling very badly to breathe. She ended up going back to the hospital and straight away, was admitted to the emergency dept. She ended spending 6 days in the hospital as they wanted to get her oxygen back under control. We survived! This whole trip was a crazy adventure as you see! But that is how travel is. One story at a time. (disclaimer, Ananda was not vaccinated during covid as she would always have a severe reaction to shots, so, she chose not to be vaccinated).
Pan Pacific is a nice hotel and the location at Canada Place is fantastic. Glad you and your sister weren't hurt too much from that crash. It looked terrible. The trials and tribulations of traveling in these days.
Wow Larry, that sounds a lot of pressure! Glad they took care of the hotel for you, that's a positive note.. Sitting by a crying baby on a plane is always hard especially for two hours. Glad you and your sister were safe from the accident. Hope your next trips are better!
Unfortunately, the hotel was not taken care of. I made the mistake of forgetting to have enough days on my insurance. I was a day too short, so I lost out on being reimbursed. Lesson learned. As for the baby, I'm usually okay with them but, I have a surprise reason why it bothered me which I will share in a later video.😶😶

For pre-cruise hotel stays, they have a package that includes everything, including taking your luggage to your cabin on the ship. Breakfast for 2, Luggage Transfer Service, & 2PM Check-Out.

Oh wow I understand sometimes you gotta travel with a baby but its so hard for everyone else. Nice room though. Dang sorry about the accident!
