  • The second stop on our road trip from Florida to Colorado took us to French Quarter RV Resort in New Orleans, Louisiana. The best thing about this RV park was the distance (0.2 miles) to Bourbon Street and all of the best spots in NOLA. It was an all paved park, no trees or privacy but big spaces and clean restrooms. If you're camping in a teardrop like us, that's important!

We drove from San Francisco to New Orlean in 2022 and we absolutely loved it. We purchased our trailer from PJ @ Princess RV in Austin, Tx and made our way to New Orlean then back to Dallas and SF. It was quite an experience and the freedom being able to camp anywhere in the country is awesome.

Find it so cool that there is an RV campground within walking distance to French Quarter. Thank you for sharing your journey. Peace and Safe Travels.

We did too! It’s hard to find parks in a city, it seems they’re always on the outskirts. Thanks for the support!

Really enjoy going there. Last two times the hot tub has been down. Hope they resolve it

Very cute teardrop!! We just did a tour on our channel of a Nucamp Boondock teardrop. It was adorable!! We were supposed to go to that campground cause of how close to bourbon street but had to change our plans!! Maybe next time. Excited to be a new member of your channel!! Oh very cool, we’ll have to check out your channel too! Yeah the proximity is unbeatable. Try to go in the fall for hopefully calmer weather.

I’ve been wanting to go to New Orleans for a while! Thanks for sharing, it seems doable during covid 😀 what month was this... the humidity looks unbearable!

This was the last weekend in Feb.. so I’m sure the humidity will only get worse 🥵 I would maybe say go in the fall. I also think the rain that rolled in didn’t help. But hey that’s pretty much all of the south East for ya!

So close the campground was. Too bad they are not keeping the city clean

Yeah, I think that’s been a common theme for a long time now. But mainly just for that one street (Bourbon St). So if you go just walk past!
