Hey Travis. I just started using vast, and I have to admit, I was surprised at how economical the instances are. I was also able to connect my Google Drive to the system, but, the instructions to migrate from instance to cloud are not really clear on what is required at first, to me at least. It took me several tries to figure out what needed to be done, which was that I needed to create a folder structure in my clean GDrive and append the path in the second textbox. I wonder if you would be willing to make a short video tutorial, because I'm sure there will be others who are interested in being able to quickly migrate data between instances and their cloud providers, who will struggle with a text explanation. Looking forward to more content on your channel, and great work with setting up this service. I'm looking forward to growing my work on it. Thanks.
Ps. I will add that I was also pleasantly surprised by how quickly the migration to GDrive occured. The other option I considered was just downloading my work folders from Jupyter directly in an archive, but having the option to pipe out the work to GDrive is really what has sold this to me. Will have to go through the workflow of duplicating the folder to other instances later, but for now, just wanted to say thanks for including this feature.
First of all, i really appreciate the service you guys provide but i have a question: is there any way to upload the model faster? maybe using a civitai direct link or something, because i spend almost 1 hour to upload it from my computer to instance and that way it's really hard for me, i don't have a great internet upload connection. I really want to keep using vast but i need to find a way to upload faster the civitai model, can you guys help me?
The fastest way to do this would be to put the model into a Google Drive folder and then connect that to your Vast account using the Cloud Sync. Then when you create an instance, you can copy the model from Google Drive to the instance. That will saturate the internet connection and upload it as fast as the server you selected can handle it.
Hi, do the ComfyUI template come with the ComfyUI Manager? I have no experience with coding and never used a cloud server before, i just want to use it to upscale and generate some images, can i just put the models and my workflows on Google Drive and move them to the machine? And one last question, after i kill the instance do i still get charged for storage?
Just select the Comfyui template. The Cloud sync can move the data to/from the machine. If you kill the instance, there is no charge. If you stop the instance, you can still access the data and there is a charge.
This isn't quite right. You either pay Stripe Connect, PayPal or Wise but not all of them together. Stripe Connect payouts typically have zero fees for bank accounts (in many regions).

Try putting the model on online storage e.g. kaggle or aws bucket and then pull it in the instance using jupyter.

Only single SD1.5 model gets loaded and not 2 other XDSL models as in video. Add those models back.
