Helena Leitora if your product can’t make this model look good, then there’s something wrong with it. But can it make an average woman look good? Charlotte’s products are very expensive- if I buy them, I want to know that they will at least tone down the redness from my eczema, not just add a shine to it. So yes, it’s very important to use diverse models so we’re able to see if a product could work for us.

galacticpie yes she did and also a neighbour/friend who was not as old as her mum but nevertheless not young. I love charlotte Tilbury but I do think she’s taken her eye off the ball a bit in terms of marketing. I’m not complaining because every time someone gives her this feedback Re not using older models I get more subscribers . But two things her team need to realise 1. Charlotte’s philosophy has always been about making makeup accessible to all. It’s Charlotte emoting about her “fabulous makeup darling” that hooked me in 2 years ago and end up with almost her entire collection- a long story but they are not really talking through application here and that’s what people want. And 2. Generalising here I accept but many women over 40 have more disposable income so it really doesn’t pay the company to continue excluding them from demonstrations. The makeup looks good on older women too and CT’s marketing team are not demonstrating that. After all it’s a Beauty YOUTH glow filter.

Love CT but I think that the models they choose have perfect skin, not realistic for the majority of women who have blemishes. Please show us what the makeup would look like on women with problem skin.

Heather McDonald well, I’m 23 and I work full time and can afford her products. I have a lot of them already so I’m not sure what you mean by ‘old enough to afford her makeup’. Also most women suffer from breakouts/blemishes/uneven skin, so it would be nice to see what it looks like on them and how Charlotte and her artists would cover blemishes using the products. I am aware the foundation isn’t full coverage but I’ve tried 2 of 3 and they are good coverage but would like to see how the artists do it. Lastly, you can use light coverage foundation on blemish skin, you just have to know how to do it, so an experts opinion would be nice. That is all.

Heather McDonald omg you are ridiculous. It isn’t just about ‘eating junk’ as I know my sister has suffered from acne and now has scarred skin and she’s someone who looks after herself very well FYI. Another health nutritionist I know occasionally breaks out due to exposure to the sun etc. Hence I’ve asked maybe show how someone could cover those. And just to let you know, there are women who have houses and can afford it, so keep saving for your house, moisturise your perfect skin and get out of here.
