I love the DVD box sets of their stuff. Nice artwork on the cover, the sleeves and disc artwork as well. Blu-Ray is lazily done. Just a paper cover with two discs slapped in the small Blu-Ray case.
I didn't watch any of the attitude era when I was a kid dose anyone advice me to watch this Collection in the same order ( dawn, vol 1, vol 2, vol 3, ) so I don't miss a thing ??
Dawn first and then the others you can watch out of order it doesn’t really matter. The Monday night war DVDs are good too if you want to learn more about the attitude era.
TheDVDFreak especially since attitude era vol 3 .had unaired dark matches from Monday night raw. And id say if I had to pick a favorite it would be attitude era vol 3
3rd was the best i loved the inclusion of in your house dark matches. And yes, you can argue attitude was born on tv in late 97 but early 96 (April) gave us Austin vs Bret, taker vs mankind etc. By mid 96 hbk was in full attitude mode. I think you can argue that the attitude era began the first raw of 96 when they started acknowledging and ripping wcw ,even reading Eric bischoffs cease and desist letter on the air. January 96 gave us the first homosexual character which was controversial at the time, and even stuff like Vader beating gorilla monsoon, no one had ever touched an authority figure before. The truen essense of attitude was the split between fans of Bret Hart, vs fans of Steve Austin and to a lesser extent hbk. Go one further...you can argue it was born in November 95 when diesel came out and ripped on being miserable as wwf champ and that he wasn't a villain but if u ain't got his merch on don't bother sticking your hand out for a high five anymore. He flipped the middle finger on tv, he threatened to take the wwf title to Atlanta like an Olympic torch (a play on words since he was going to Atlanta based wcw but also the Olympics were in Atlanta). May 96 saw pillman cut a swear promo on executives for tv and threaten to "rape the entire federation". So attitude, to me, was long before it became a marketing tool slogan. They had attitude a full year before they realized what they had
The thing I have with the Attitude Era Volumes 1 and 2 are that, there are way too many matches on there. I mean my goodness more matches are on there than segments. The matches suck on the set too, I don't want to see matches take up the bulk of the set, I would've much less wanted segments that actually boosted there ratings for Raw. The 15th Anniversary Raw set was WAY better than that set.

Got the blu Ray version of Vol 3 for £12 today. One of the hardest blu rays I’ve looked for!

You should check out the WWF Best of Raw vol 1 & 2 dvd set if you havent already. Not sure why vol 3 didn't make it to dvd.

The attitude collection from 2002 covers a good bit as well. It’s 12 different DVDs
