Ricky nice job on replacing a the fan motor. first time on your channel. I'll check out your other videos. Thanks for sharing. Greetings Nick from New Jersey
Wave your screwdrivers over a magnet, once magnetized it makes working on small, tight things like this easier. Stick the screw to the driver and install, also helps keep the screw stuck to the driver when removing. Also, why didn’t you replace that wick? Anyway, good video.
Ricky my steam train isn’t working it’s not making smoke and is only moving like a centimeter back and fourth and the tracks are rusty so could it be the tracks?
Nuno Costa L You can order the motor from MTH, but a local hobby shop may have them as well. As far as the rest of the Smoke unit, you can try to order one but you can also order the different pieces and put them together.
That wicking looked burned up, i would have change it while you had it apart? Oh well. Also 30-40 drops of smoke fluid, not 15-20 manufacturers are wrong! You'll burn up the wick like this one
After watching your video, a person who is thinking of repairing his smoke unit would have no problem. The instructions are concise and clear.
Marie Zito Thank you!
