I married a very open minded Christian. I am a Hindu, so much love and yet our differences come in between us all the time. There are real problems that we encounter and there is never any talk about it in the social media. I really want to emphasize on that, it's not all that smooth sailing, doesn't matter how much you love each other but you do have to realize that, often you get tired of the other's beliefs and cultures.
I am a mother of 3 children now and really feel for my parents. Somewhere I feel they were only protecting us from the unknown. I am happy to explore on this subject.

A wonderful show by Zindgi Live. I think this show should be watched by all parents whose sons and daughters are college age. Love is unconditional, it does not care about religion caste or creed. Two people fall in love because they are suppose to fall in love. Parents will have to stop worrying about log kaya kahenge. walk with your children not the society who is not going be there when you need the help. Your kids will be always there for you. Another thing is if kids married with their choice they have come to know the person. Arranged marriage was a thing of the past.
I wish I had enough guts to tell the parents that I love some one and she loves me. Arraigned marriages are not always successful and if they are not you forced to live with it. WAKE UPPARENTS WALK WITH YOUR CHILDREN so they can say proudly our marriage is blessed by our parents. .

I think it depends on the parents. If the parents suffered a lot due to their inter religion marriage then they will try hard to stop their child because they know the price their chilf will have to pay.
