My mom died at 78 and dad at 84. But I did my best to care for them thinking that they would live a little longer but for me, they died sooner than I wanted them to. I cry and miss them a lot everyday.

How was their relationship with their parents? How much attention did they give to their parents in their youth? Kids learn more from what you practice as parents then what you preach them.

I had to look after my sick parents who are no more. My mother passed away at the age of 59 only and my father passed away after 4 and a half years. I am struggling with depression and complex PTSD now. Getting psychiatric treatment at the age of 38 and living alone is a challenge. I have no one to call my own.

I curse on those children who fail to handle the responsibility of taking care of their parents . Those who give pain n misery to their beloved parents these children will suffer these will must karma will punish them .I sacrificed my like n carrer to take care of parents it’s 15 years plus . Dad passed away when he was 80 n now mom is 88 yrs n I am taking care of her n the whole house .i have two sister n one brother n I am the youngest . Now I feel proud that I am an example to young generations that we should care our parents to repay our kindness n the parents sacrifice n hard work , when they get old it’s our sole responsibility
kya yar I m happy that I have got my husband so lovely..coz my mother lives with me and even he respects my mother a lot..my brother is handicapped he also lives with me..thanks to my husband..he allowed me to help my family..even he didn't take a single penny in my marriage..I miss my father a lot..

2 months ago I spoke to old couple from India and they told me their kids didn't help them with nothing. they asked me how to ask for help here in USA.
I saw a documentary in you tube when a mom became a widow in India .they have to leave the house and be homeless, a whole town in India are full of widows homeless asking people for money and food, is really sad, our parents gave us life and raised us, we should do our best for them.

My brother abandoned my parents after his marriage. I take care of my parents as much as possible. Giving then mental and physical strength to go on in life. J know how it feels when I see them. I hope no one should go through it but in india its common

I m happy that actually I am earning enough to look after my mum dad while living in London,my brother left them 4years ago with his wife they are in Delhi now not in contact so far as my father was doctor now retired I can totally relate to them what they r going through god gives long and happy life to all parents love u a lot mum dad

Mere dadaji meri mom ko itna kuch bura bolte the, meri mom bohot roti thi, lekin meri mom ne dadaji ki aakhri saas tak unki seva ki..
Dadaji last ke 4-5 month me khud se kuch bhi nahi kar pate the to mere dad ne unki potty, saaf karne se unko nahane tak sab kuch kiya..
Wo bhi Nokri karte karte..
Aap soch bhi nahi sakte mere parents ne unki kitne had tak seva ki..dadaji ka nature itna accha nahi tha, lekin roj zagde hote the, lekin seva karna nahi chodna chahiye..
