thankyou mam for telling others that what we are getting is not free, its worth according to our job profiles. nowadays people think that we running staf gettin huge amt of salary but its not more actually its less if we compare it with dangerness and nature of job hardship we faced during running, how many life and money is direct responsibiity of our job, one stroke of sleep during 12-16hr duty can cause of thousands of deaths and loss of huge amt of money. so dont count KMA as our emoluments(free ka paisa) its our right and we should be given it without a doubt. mam KMA of assistant loco pilots should be equal to gaurds he did almost equal amt of work as gaurd still getting paid lesser than him. we shoud be called everywhere as assistant loco pilots and loco pilots not as drivers, its mental harassment of a very responsible job.
I think you belongs to running staff ( loco) and also not aware of pay elements i. e. 30% of basic pay . You not get it for hardship or 12 -16 hours duty , for that you entitled to overtime . 99% running staff don't know the accurate reason for running allowance (30%) as show it as fundamental right likewise reserved class . Many times railway board tried to abolish it but not succeed because its impossible . There is only running staff who bound to work in every roster ( day 8-16, inter 16-24, night 00- 08) at a time . Means bound to work round the clock. Every stationary employees who are bound to work 8hrs or 1/3 round of clock and getting pay. running staff who are extra 2/3 round of clock bound to work , if they also get only pay it will be obvious injustice and inhuman to them . Britishers make arrangement to compensate it by 60% pay element in various allowance with75% retirement benefit also. Upto 1972 running staff got above mentioned elements . After bhatia committee recommendations 30% was supposed to given directly . But govt reduced it to 30 % and kept it in allowance indirectly and also retirement benefit reduced to 55% from 75% . Very long and complicated matter but bottom line is that " running staff got running allowance not for running duty but for bound to work round the clock "

I just joined as assistant loco pilot and here seeing the toughness of job and much lesser gradepay I feel like there is some injustice happening with running staff but who cares sir.
@@shashanktomer007 RAC ( running allowance committee )raised serious objections in 2004 on allowance. सफाई वाले का काम सफाई करना , पानी वाले का काम पानी पिलाना , ड्राइवर ( उस समय का नाम ) का काम गाड़ी चलना , Then why kms allowance , some staff came to me then i answered whole FAQ of RAC . You will surprise there were only two in india who answered FAQ . I was one of them. I clarified that running staff not hungary for kms allowance , its their duty to work the train but railway administration should put off them in 8hrs at their H. Q. its not feasible so rly board pay TA in lieu of kms . In formula of kms allowance they pay only 20 days TA with respect to national average kms of passenger trains of india . They reduce 4 days TA of rest and 6 days TA for running rooms facilities . I seriously objected that running rooms are not facilities for running staffs but its yours operation difficulty to provide it for safety rest .

@@shashanktomer007 Don't worry for allowance but try for departmental exam or other competitive exam . Job of loco piolet is also good . No one can reduce your pay . After entitlement try for department officer.
Madam technical escorting staff of train like ac staff, dg staff has also very tough duty they have spend 5 or 6 days continuous on train ie from source to destination and return but they did not get all these allowance why.is this tough duty or not

Where as guard in ALL lhb rake enjoy their duty very comfortably in train. Enjoy AC facility ,enjoy mobile tv, etc in duty also carry many guard during duty and spent whole duty gossip among them.is this tough duty ? I think it's a very royal duty.

While escorting staff not comes in continuous duty .
