Awesome video! Thank you for making this. The first time I put my asp saber together it was fine, the second time I broke the led. Great steps, no more breakage.
Thank you so much for this video! I was worried when I get my ASP from the KS I would mess something up. Your video was easy to follow and very helpful!
Thanks for that. I've been taking apart and putting mind back together. The LED is very loose inside the top of mine, and there doesn't seem to be a way to tighten that down and the emitter plug. So when I have the saber on, I can hear the LED sliding around in the hilt. Also, good tip about the switch. Mine is loose so I'll probably glue that. But also, mine was just accessing the menu every time I pressed it. So it seems that I have to just click it once to activate it, and hold it down to access the menu. It gets stuck sometimes though and just goes straight to the menu.
+Jason Glisson I'm glad I could help! And yes, holding down the button is how to access the menu. I'm not sure what to do about it getting stuck, I'd say something like WD-40 except I'm not sure if that's electronics safe. :/
+Steven Stromberg Here is mine: drive.google.com/file/d/1djD9rZNO_ElDpW9Y_9yFNI7nT-lTEMqZpQ/view?usp=sharing You can see at the end, the button gets stuck after I just press it and it makes the clash sound over and over and over again.
Jason Glisson I sure do love that crimson sound font. :) So to turn it on, you just press the button, or if you want to access the settings, you hold down the button _if the saber is off_. If the saber is turned on, you need to press and hold the button to turn it off. Just pressing it quickly activates the "force lightning" sound (for the veridium sound font, pressing it activates a "laser blast" sound). So it looks like it is behaving as designed.
+Steven Stromberg Ahhhh. Ok. How in the world did you figure that out?!? I haven't been able to find the directions or anything. Seemed really random the way the button was behaving. Thanks so much!
+Jason Glisson No problem! I just fiddled around with it until I figured it out, but I also own an Ultrasaber, and they are similar in how they work, so I already knew some things to try.
That is the 'theory' - in practice what you get from SaberForge varies. The two ASP kits I received had NO locking-screw for the LED assembly. So it was initially a mystery how I'm supposed to hold in place the LED assemblies. After staring at it and futzing around with it for some hours I noticed the FRONT end of the LED assembly is threaded, that will thread onto the back end inside my emitter section. The switch I received for one of the two saber kits had too much of the black adhesive at the right-angle plug so that I cannot get the nut off of the switch assembly in order to insert the switch. I suspect in truth each person will have to figure out some magic about how to build their own kit because SF didn't design these well for assemblability. Your advise on keeping the electronics out as you screw it all together is very valuable and important.
+sagatbalrog It's good quality stuff, they just got overwhelmed and some mistakes made it in here and there. The machining quality is some of the best I've seen. I have sabers from other companies as well, but they don't have the same feel of quality. It's interesting to me that some emitters work differently than others. It's probably not a mistake, just something that we weren't expecting.
Is it possible to build a lightsaber by assembling differents pieces of eacher saber ? For example by taking an emitter of the vengeance light saber and by assembling it onto the mauler cristal chamber ?

If you get an ASP saber assembled for you by saberforge, can you still switch out other switch and body ASP parts or is it just limited to the emitter and the pommel?
First thing is I would like to thank you for taking your time to make this video; I spent almost 2 hours watchings other videos that left me just as clueless as I was when I entered TH-cam. Now, since I don't want to blow my savings off buying 4 lightsabers until I get what I want (lol) would you recommend me to build my own buying separate pieces? I'm asking cause I only want the saber and the blade I don't really care about the sound (but I could also buy the sound and lights plug and play kit). Hope you answer, I have many doubts and I'm a bit insecure about this but your videos only make me want to go and get my first lightsaber.
Thanks for watching, and I'm glad this has helped! I got all of my parts from www.saberparts.com as part of their Kickstarter campaign last year. You can go there and put together a saber and it will show you a list of all of the parts it needs. Regarding building your own with separate parts, that depends on what you want in the end. Buying all of the parts together using something like saberparts.com is great if you want to save a whole lot of effort. There are tons of other saber vendors, each with their own pros and cons.
TY SO much for this video! I've been looking into building my own custom saber for Star Wars Celebration next year, but I couldn't figure out what to do with the electronics. This vid helped me out a lot, so thank you. As far as the saber goes, is the saber plug necessary? And with the saber do you just screw it on the same way you do with the hilt pieces?
You're welcome, glad it was useful! The saber plug is not necessary, it's just for looks when the blade is not attached. The blade does not have threads on it, so it can't be screwed in. It's attached using a small retention screw that puts pressure on the blade so it doesn't slip out. The emitter pieces have holes for the retention screw, and should come with one.
The blade is attached with a retention screw in the emitter, basically you slide the blade in and tighten the screw to hold the blade. The blade retention screw is the one highest on the hilt, higher up than the LED retention screw.
So the hilts we buy from saber forge that are already built with electronics can't be customized? Is this because they use super glue on the threads when assembling the saber?
+Steven Stromberg I will never forget my design. I finalized my design and placed the order on December 26 and the tab with the Saber Builder displaying my design has sat open and untouched ever since so I can stare longingly at the 3D rendering of my precious when the mood strikes me.

This will be my first saber when it arrives, and I honestly don't know if I'll ever find myself in a position where I can afford a second.
Do you have to manually set up the sound fonts on the board? I was looking at the plug and play veteran tier board and there wasn’t an option to pick between crimson and viridian
The blade plug is strictly cosmetic, it just looks neat when the blade is not in the saber. The blade itself is attached using a retention screw, a small screw that applies pressure to the side of the blade and prevents it from sliding out.
+Shawn Pierce thanks for watching! To recharge, you just unscrew the pommel and lightly shake until the speaker/battery module slides out, then remove the battery and charge it in the charger that should have been included. They forgot to send me the charger, but luckily I have another one at home that is compatible with that type of battery (lithium-ion 18650). If you are into electronics, you can also manually add your own recharge port so you never have to remove the battery.
Problem, I have the box switch. Kenobi’s to be exact. How do I go about attaching the plate looking part? It doesn’t stay in place and I have no idea how I’m suppose to attach it to the control box because it just falls out.
Unfortunately I've never handled one of those myself, I'm not entirely sure how parts are supposed to attach for those. That might be a good question for their customer support, or maybe their Facebook group: facebook.com/groups/CustomLightsaberOwners/
Can you explain what the blade plug is? You cant put a blade on with it correct? So that means I shouldn't order a blade plug if I want to put a blade on my hilt right?
Hey I'm looking to make my own custom saber. My question is, that circuit thing. Does it make the clashing noise when moved or bashed against something or do I need to buy something separate?
The sound board I got which was provided by SaberForge does include the clash effects. I think all of their sound boards include the clash, but I'm not 100% sure.
They charge 150 to 450$ to do exactly what you've just done? My god... Anyways, thanks for the video, i'm definitely keeping this video in my watch later section to follow you step by step when I order my ASP's ;P EDIT: Is you battery pack/soundboard part of the plug and play or bought and added together separately?
Hey Steven, Could you tell me more about the electronics yours involved? I'm contemplating ordering the custom parts off the site, but I'm not sure what electronics I'll need for sound, light, vibration etc. I was thinking of buying the Champion kit, but I'm not sure what else I need. Thanks in advance.
Hello! The Champion kit has most of what you need. You'll also need a PnP switch and an LED module separately if you go with the Champion kit. saberforge.com/products/champsled?variant=34947221322
The Champion kit comes with a recharge port I believe (mine did not so I can't verify for sure), so you would use one of the switch holes for the switch and the other for the recharge port. The charger (also sold separately) plugs directly into the recharge port so you don't have to remove the battery.
I would if I could, but I only have this saber from Saber Forge which had the sound board already attached to the battery pack, so I don't know what it was like before being attached. Sorry!
Question, I ordered a saber from ultrasaber and I wanted to use the ASP for my saber, but I dont know if the speaker and ect will it fit into my saber?
I tried comparing parts between my SaberForge saber and my Ultrasaber, and it seems like the Ultrasaber has more room in the hilt than the SaberForce saber, so you might be OK to use the SaberForge electronics in your Ultrasaber, but they probably won't have a snug fit. They might not fit at all either, depending on the hilt you have. It would be much safer (and potentially less expensive) to just use electronics from Ultrasabers so you know they will work. The SaberForge ASP hilt parts (pommel, blade holder, etc...) are not compatible with Ultrasabers.
For me it was a long time because I ordered when it was on Kickstarter, so it was about a year. Now that they are in full production, I'm sure delivery times are much faster, but I don't know what their average delivery time is.
The color is determined by the LED you pick. If you want to be able to change colors, you'll need an RGB LED and some way to control the colors. Mine is just a simple green LED.
Wizard Man They just help get the hilt pieces lined up better. They aren't needed, but I just wanted my switches lined up with other parts of the hilt.
I don't, I ordered mine with the Kickstarter campaign, so I waited close to a year to get mine. I think their normal wait times are somewhere like 10-15 weeks, but I could be wrong.
Yeah, most larger saber companies take about that long for custom stuff. If you order a standard design from their site, it's very likely to be faster.
Taking several weeks is normal for many manufacturers, but I couldn't tell you what a "normal" time frame is for Saber Forge. I got this on a Kickstarter campaign, so I waited for over a year. :P
+bobby puopolo more sabers for sale? I think you can still order standard sabers from saberforge.com, and the ASP sabers should be back up for sale in a couple months at the longest if I'm not mistaken.
If you order off of saberparts.com (which is what I did), I believe everything you need is still included. You can get individual parts from this link (note the LED/switch etc... are not included in this particular set): www.shopsaberparts.com/collections/plug-and-play-electronics/products/champsled
I assembled mine only to find the light doesn't come on. The sound works fine, but no light. I tried plugging the battery directly to the led, and I did get a dim light. Did I short the LEDs?
+Jim Kirk If the light comes on at all, I'd guess it isn't broken (but I'm not super great at electronics either). If you can get a voltmeter, try connecting the leads to the positive and negative wires for the LED, and try the switch too. That will help you find which part isn't working properly. Also, when connecting the wires using the connectors, make sure red wires connect to red wires and black wires connect to black wires. I had an orange LED that Saber Forge wired backward, so I had to flip the connector to get it to work right.
Good to know it wasn't just me (although it's too bad it happened to you too)! What I did was cut off the black heatshrink around the wires, then I used a soldering iron to melt the solder and remove the wires without breaking them. Then I slid new heatshrink over the wires, resoldered the wires onto the correct connectors, and heated the heatshrink to seal the whole thing. It's not a hard process, and if you aren't familiar with soldering, find a friend with a soldering iron and chances are they'll know exactly what needs to be done.
Yep, it's a black plastic tube that shrinks when heat is added, I used a lighter and just moved it through the flame until it was nice and tight. If you notice any bubbling in the plastic, you've applied a bit too much heat, it only takes a few seconds. You can find it at most electronics stores. Technically it isn't an important part, it just helps protect the wires. Electrical tape might work well too.
So I just took a look at the soundboard to see if I could plug it into the computer... and there is no USB port. So I guess maybe it's not a champion after all? The Kickstarter I backed said it would be a champion but I guess I never really cared to check for sure. :/
Sorry for the late response, I somehow didn't see your message! I used E6000, it's great because it's strong but you can remove it if you need to redo something. You can get it in the craft section at Wal-Mart or probably at almost any craft store.
+Cameron Advance It stands for "Adaptive Saber Parts", the modular system created by Saber Forge that allows you to mix and match parts for endless unique hilt combinations!
There's a slightly easier way to do that. Put the LED into the emitter and tighten the retention screw to hold it in place. Feed the LED wire up through the switch's bottom. Connect the wires to the LED. Hold the emitter steady and screw on the switch section. Connect the Blue wire to the switch. Feed the battery pack through the body and screw it one while holding the switch section still. Push battery back into the body. Screw on the pommel. Turn on saber. Do the happy dance.
Thanks for the input! With my particular hardware, that doesn't quite work for me because the wires attached to the LED module have a lot of heatshrink attached, making it long enough that the unflexible heatshrinked portion extends below the switch, so screwing on the emitter with the LED module secured seriously mutilates the wires. But that method probably works great for other ASP part combinations!
I do have to give credit to this video as I never would have thought of a different way had I not seen it, so thank you. Also, had I not seen this video I probably would've made the same mistake you did and I'm nowhere near as proficient at wiring as you seem to be so I'd have no course of action but to stare at my "destroyed" saber and cry.
It will be my first saber, by the way, and I have yet to receive it. I'm at the tail end of the IndieGogo. I'm hoping their prediction of having all pre-orders shipped out by the end of the month is true.
This is what I have for mine: saberforge.com/collections/plug-play-electronics/products/champsled?variant=34947221322 Then all you need is a switch module and LED (also found on that site), and you'll have all you need for light and sound.
Mine came with two fake switches, I assume they all do. As far as electronics go, if you are ordering from saberparts.com, I believe it comes with everything you need. If you are ordering from saberforge.com, it depends on what tier you buy. Check out the tier explanation under the pictures on this page: www.saberforge.com/apprentice-sabers/acolyte-saber You can always buy an empty hilt and add electronics later using one of their plug-and-play kits: www.shopsaberparts.com/collections/plug-and-play-electronics/products/champsled www.shopsaberparts.com/collections/plug-and-play-electronics/products/copy-of-plug-and-play-hero-sound-kit
can someone help? I just finished building my light saber from the saber parts website. I was told all I needed to do to order it was send an email of the parts list to saber forge. Is this true? can someone walk me through what I need to do? thank you. haha.
+Jessi ToDaMoon I could be wrong, but I don't think they are taking orders from the site until they get all Kickstarter and Indiegogo pledges finished and shipped. I would imagine they'll let you order straight from saberparts.com when they are ready for more orders. Personally I think it would be a nightmare for a company to handle a bunch of orders through e-mail.
+Steven Stromberg thank you very much, I just saw some of the comments from the site and the new update saying once they finish all the orders they have they will open the saber parts site back to the public. so now I just have to wait. hopefully it won't take super long. thank you again for the information.
Reverse Flash that is attached with a tiny screw so if the screw is lloose you could just tighten it , not a big deal. thats a good looking emitter though, maybe their best one
Yes, but finding the resistors was the hardest part; as I broke the stem to one. :(. All good now. I found the wiring a bit flimsy, so rewired the whole setup :)
I've removed and replaced the battery many times and had no issues. The wire breaking was my own fault, since I was getting the wires all twisted up around the switch.
Wow that is amazing and looks so much fun to build your own saber. And that is SUPER LOUD!!!
It's a pretty neat system!

Can you explain what the blade plug is? You cant put a blade on with it correct? So that means I shouldn't order a blade plug if I want to put a blade on my hilt right?
The blade plug is removable, it uses the same mechanism as the blade to stay in the hilt. It's more for display, and looks kinda neat.
***** alright, thank you
Hey I'm looking to make my own custom saber. My question is, that circuit thing. Does it make the clashing noise when moved or bashed against something or do I need to buy something separate?
The sound board I got which was provided by SaberForge does include the clash effects. I think all of their sound boards include the clash, but I'm not 100% sure.
What if I were to buy all of the parts separately would I still get the led and battery or would I have to buy them too?
That depends on what you buy. If you buy the electronics kit, I'm pretty sure it comes with the LED (not 100% sure about the battery).
Steven Stromberg ok thx
Is the section where the sound board is at loose if your swinging the light saber?
Mine isn't, I would guess the ASP system is designed so that stuff doesn't shake around.
So when you buy the ASP parts, do you buy the sound font separately?
My sound font came with the soundboard. At the time they had only two options available, I don't know if they have any more now.
Glad you enjoyed the video! The battery pack and soundboard are indeed part of the plug and play that came with it.
Hey Steven,
Could you tell me more about the electronics yours involved? I'm contemplating ordering the custom parts off the site, but I'm not sure what electronics I'll need for sound, light, vibration etc. I was thinking of buying the Champion kit, but I'm not sure what else I need.
Thanks in advance.
Hello! The Champion kit has most of what you need. You'll also need a PnP switch and an LED module separately if you go with the Champion kit.
saberforge.com/products/champsled?variant=34947221322
Thanks man! You're a top bloke, haha. Could you also tell me how I'd charge it? Do I leave one of the switch holes open as an outlet?
The Champion kit comes with a recharge port I believe (mine did not so I can't verify for sure), so you would use one of the switch holes for the switch and the other for the recharge port. The charger (also sold separately) plugs directly into the recharge port so you don't have to remove the battery.
By the charger, do you mean the 18650 charger?
Yep, that's the one!
Could you do a video on installing the sound board? I ordered one with out and then regretted it.
I would if I could, but I only have this saber from Saber Forge which had the sound board already attached to the battery pack, so I don't know what it was like before being attached. Sorry!
Do you need the shims?
They are optional, all they do is help you line up the various parts because the threading doesn't always line up on its own.
Does the battery come with it and if not can a double a battery work. I'm new to this kinda thing
The battery did come with mine, if you order from www.saberparts.com it should include a battery.
How long did it take for you to get the parts? (From the day you ordered to the day it got to your step) please and thank you sir.
For me it was a long time because I ordered when it was on Kickstarter, so it was about a year. Now that they are in full production, I'm sure delivery times are much faster, but I don't know what their average delivery time is.
Steven Stromberg Cool thanks man.
How do you control the color?
The color is determined by the LED you pick. If you want to be able to change colors, you'll need an RGB LED and some way to control the colors. Mine is just a simple green LED.
I looked up to buy parts apprentice eris. But could only find for elite eres. Can not buy apprentice make self.
I need a V2.0 viridian pnp electronics kit. Saberforge doesn't sell them anymore
Awww that's too bad. Maybe Ebay would have some? :/
I still don't fully understand one thing, what do the timing shims do exactly?
Wizard Man They just help get the hilt pieces lined up better. They aren't needed, but I just wanted my switches lined up with other parts of the hilt.
Can you do a tutorial on assembly without the quick connects?
I only have this one saber, I don't have another to assemble without the quick connects. :(
so does the ASP come with a recharge port for the battery? oor fo i have to take it out and charge it another way?
No recharge port on this one. It came with a charger though, so I just remove the battery and put it in the charger.
***** alright cool thanks man
can you say the names of the pieces? I cant find those things because idk what theyre called
What pieces are you referring to?
If I order just hilt parts and select not preassembled, how long until they get delivered do you know?
I don't, I ordered mine with the Kickstarter campaign, so I waited close to a year to get mine. I think their normal wait times are somewhere like 10-15 weeks, but I could be wrong.
Steven Stromberg WHAT?!!! That's hella long!!!!
Yeah, most larger saber companies take about that long for custom stuff. If you order a standard design from their site, it's very likely to be faster.
***** but I'm only ordering hilt things lol no blade or electronics. Also I don't need them to preassemble it
I think it all depends on how backed up with orders they are.
This is bobby how long does it take to get parts in I bought from saber forge last month
Taking several weeks is normal for many manufacturers, but I couldn't tell you what a "normal" time frame is for Saber Forge. I got this on a Kickstarter campaign, so I waited for over a year. :P
You should really put a lamp guard over the battery. it'll help reduce the risk of shorts.
when will they have more
+bobby puopolo more sabers for sale? I think you can still order standard sabers from saberforge.com, and the ASP sabers should be back up for sale in a couple months at the longest if I'm not mistaken.
Can you put other electronics in it or just what they give you?
I'm sure you can gut it and replace anything, but it's glued in there.
@@StevenStromberg thank you! I subscribed!
How long should the blade plug be for that emitter 10
Looks like the white plastic part of my blade plug is 2 and 1/8th inches long, including the plastic part at the top it's 2 and 3/8ths inches.
***** thx
Won’t the chassi swing around the hilt ?
The chassis is not secured within the hilt, but it's not entirely loose, it can have trouble spinning.
what electronics did you use please link
If you order off of saberparts.com (which is what I did), I believe everything you need is still included. You can get individual parts from this link (note the LED/switch etc... are not included in this particular set): www.shopsaberparts.com/collections/plug-and-play-electronics/products/champsled
Quick question do u need sound??
Only if you want it, but it isn't required.
Hmmm, you know, the connectors ARE flipped! the red goes to the black, and the black goes to the red. How can I go about flipping it?
Good to know it wasn't just me (although it's too bad it happened to you too)! What I did was cut off the black heatshrink around the wires, then I used a soldering iron to melt the solder and remove the wires without breaking them. Then I slid new heatshrink over the wires, resoldered the wires onto the correct connectors, and heated the heatshrink to seal the whole thing. It's not a hard process, and if you aren't familiar with soldering, find a friend with a soldering iron and chances are they'll know exactly what needs to be done.
+Steven Stromberg Thanks! I think I have a soldering iron around here somewhere. When you say heatshrink, you are talking about the black tape?
Yep, it's a black plastic tube that shrinks when heat is added, I used a lighter and just moved it through the flame until it was nice and tight. If you notice any bubbling in the plastic, you've applied a bit too much heat, it only takes a few seconds. You can find it at most electronics stores. Technically it isn't an important part, it just helps protect the wires. Electrical tape might work well too.
What are all the necessary parts?
You can find all of the parts here: www.saberparts.com/#!/configure
How much was that particular hilt?
About $350. It would be a bit more now, I got it as part of a Kickstarter deal.
What soundboard do you use Is it a Veteran?
I had to look it up, it's the Champion soundboard.
Nice one thanks for the info. Are you able to load your own custom saber sounds on to the champion board?
So I just took a look at the soundboard to see if I could plug it into the computer... and there is no USB port. So I guess maybe it's not a champion after all? The Kickstarter I backed said it would be a champion but I guess I never really cared to check for sure. :/
Ah I see , the champion on the site does have a USB port so I can only assume you can load your own sounds.
how can people put in a recharge port in it
I would use the extra switch hole for one. Currently mine just has a cover on the hole that looks like a switch.
Mine didn't come with that wrench.
Neither did mine, I already owned it from a previous saber project.
What kind of glue?
Sorry for the late response, I somehow didn't see your message!
I used E6000, it's great because it's strong but you can remove it if you need to redo something. You can get it in the craft section at Wal-Mart or probably at almost any craft store.
How long is your blade plug ?
I don't know for sure, but I'd guess about 3".
@@StevenStromberg May you measure it please ? I m not sure the one to choose between 2.5 and 3 :s
Looks like it's 2" of tube with a .25" top that sits outside the hilt.
(Sorry I didn't see this until today!)
@@StevenStromberg Only 2" ! thanks a lot I'll take the same :)
Whats the zise of your blade plug ?
I am sorry, size *
I believe they are one size fits all, as far as I know.
What does asp mean? Is it the name of the saber?
I'm hoping their prediction of having all pre-orders shipped out by the end of the month is true.
is saberforge still selling asp sabers? if so, can you let me know where online? thanks :)
+Daryl Nguyen They just started and still haven't fulfilled all of their kickstarter backers. Go to saberforge.com.
They have an asp builder and store now on their site
Thanks for the comment four and a half months later after they fulfilled the Kickstarter.
You can get them here now: www.saberparts.com/
You can also get individual parts here: www.shopsaberparts.com/
what do you need to build a lightsaber?
You can find everything you need at www.saberparts.com or www.thecustomsabershop.com.
THX!
how you do a thing neck together
I'm not sure what you mean, could you clarify please?
Steven Stromberg I do not understand what I have to buy everything for electronics components that I have sound and light?
This is what I have for mine: saberforge.com/collections/plug-play-electronics/products/champsled?variant=34947221322
Then all you need is a switch module and LED (also found on that site), and you'll have all you need for light and sound.
Steven Stromberg thank you very much
Steven Stromberg When it comes to making a saber, do you pretty much buy one of each in the ASP area on SF?
how many fake switches does a switch section come with?
and what parts do you need for the electronics? i don't want to assume and buy.
Mine came with two fake switches, I assume they all do.
As far as electronics go, if you are ordering from saberparts.com, I believe it comes with everything you need. If you are ordering from saberforge.com, it depends on what tier you buy. Check out the tier explanation under the pictures on this page: www.saberforge.com/apprentice-sabers/acolyte-saber
You can always buy an empty hilt and add electronics later using one of their plug-and-play kits:
www.shopsaberparts.com/collections/plug-and-play-electronics/products/champsled
www.shopsaberparts.com/collections/plug-and-play-electronics/products/copy-of-plug-and-play-hero-sound-kit
Omg my eyes hurt kept going in and out of the video to make sure I wasn’t losing my sight
can someone help? I just finished building my light saber from the saber parts website. I was told all I needed to do to order it was send an email of the parts list to saber forge. Is this true? can someone walk me through what I need to do? thank you. haha.
+Jessi ToDaMoon I could be wrong, but I don't think they are taking orders from the site until they get all Kickstarter and Indiegogo pledges finished and shipped. I would imagine they'll let you order straight from saberparts.com when they are ready for more orders. Personally I think it would be a nightmare for a company to handle a bunch of orders through e-mail.
+Steven Stromberg thank you very much, I just saw some of the comments from the site and the new update saying once they finish all the orders they have they will open the saber parts site back to the public. so now I just have to wait. hopefully it won't take super long. thank you again for the information.
how do you order for ASP sabers ?
You will be able to order them here soon:
www.saberparts.com/
***** how did you get yours, I can't seem to order mine ....
I got mine through their Kickstarter campaign, but they will have the site open to the public for orders in a couple weeks.
ok and so you order on saberparts.com, or you don't know and i'll just need to wait a couple of weeks to see the surprise ...
From what I've heard and read, you will be able to order directly from saberparts.com once it is opened to the public.
buy link?
www.saberparts.com/ is where I ordered from. :)
Sir what's the costs
I'm not sure what the full price is now, I got this as part of a Kickstarter special deal.
How do you get one of these
They will be for sale here soon:
www.saberparts.com/
+Steven Stromberg I have a question I was planning on getting that emmiter for my asp saber but some peaple say it's a little wabbolee is that true ?
how can a emitter be wobbly. its screwed on
***** I ment the emmiter shroud
Reverse Flash that is attached with a tiny screw so if the screw is lloose you could just tighten it , not a big deal. thats a good looking emitter though, maybe their best one
Wish I would have watched this before putting mine together. I also broke the wiring while assembling :(
Dale Delisle Sad day! At least it isn't too hard to fix if you or a friend are familiar with basic electronics and soldering.
Yes, but finding the resistors was the hardest part; as I broke the stem to one. :(. All good now. I found the wiring a bit flimsy, so rewired the whole setup :)
anyone know
the swing detection on saberforge is not really as good as ultrasabers.
It depends, the nice thing is you can change the sensitivity.
Can I use glue gun
That would probably be alright, but I'm not a craft/glue expert.
If it broke already, imagine what happens when you take the battery out a couple of times.
I've removed and replaced the battery many times and had no issues. The wire breaking was my own fault, since I was getting the wires all twisted up around the switch.
OMG are you a Mormon!?!
Yep, I sure am! :D What gave it away?
+Steven Stromberg the follow the prophet video 😅 anyhow, it's cool to see another saber lovin mormon
+superherocinema2000 Oh haha yeah I forgot about that video! ^_^ Good to meet you too!
